Mira ignored her and simply pulled up the surveillance footage on her phone to show her.
She had memorized the password to the classroom's security cameras in her previous life, so she had connected her phone the moment she arrived today.
"You? How did you connect to the classroom's surveillance system?"
"I not only have the classroom footage, but I also have your call logs with Mara."
With that, Mira pulled up the private text message exchanges between Mara and Evelyn Crowe on her phone.
Logically, students shouldn't have access to school surveillance, but with Evelyn Crowe's dark secrets in hand, Mira was entirely fearless.
This was a case of fighting fire with fire; dealing with someone so devious required using their own tactics against them.
"How... how do you have these?"
"I'm warning you to cut out the nonsense. Losing your job will be the least of your worries if you end up landing yourself behind bars."
In her previous life, Evelyn Crowe had relied on her connections in the Department of Education to act like a tyrant in school, doing whatever she pleased. Hopefully, she would know her place in this life.
Otherwise, getting her banished to a poor mountainous area wouldn't be the end of it. If she refused to change her ways this time around, Mira fully intended to send her straight to prison.
Mira was an expert hacker. Having received further tutelage from Dominic West and Lucian North in her past life, pulling off something like this was effortless.
Ms. Crowe stared at Mira for a long time before finally conceding defeat, opting to drop the matter to keep the peace.
Mara, oblivious to the silent exchange, continued to yell, "She assaulted a classmate just now!"
Ms. Crowe shot Mara a warning glance. "That's because that student deserved it."
Mara was rendered speechless, entirely confused as to why Evelyn Crowe had suddenly switched sides.
Celine Ward sneaked up to Mira and whispered, "The more I look at you, the more you seem like The Oracle."
Mira laughed. "I am The Oracle. Stick with me from now on."
Regardless of the drama, Mira was genuinely happy today. She had reunited with several good friends and was already getting along with them wonderfully.
Adrian retorted.
"I've said my piece. Believe it or not, it's up to you.
I also have the school surveillance footage right here. Do you want to watch it? Oh, and by the way, I have the footage of you yelling at me just now in this very house.
If you can't tell right from wrong, I'd be more than happy to upload all these clips online and let the public decide."
"Why do you have access to surveillance? Did Ethan help you set this up?"
Adrian couldn't fathom any other explanation. He would never, in a million years, believe that Mira was a master hacker!
With that, Mira headed upstairs to her room.
Adrian ground his teeth in fury, but there was nothing he could do. If Mira actually posted those videos online, the Mercer family's reputation would be completely ruined.
