The three characters immediately started hunting for improperly parked bikes.
"There's one! Hurry, before someone else grabs it!"
In a short amount of time, they had made several dozen dollars.
"Wait, what if someone intentionally moves a properly parked bike into an illegal zone, takes a picture, and moves it back just to get the bounty? Wouldn't the last rider get fined for no reason?"
"We thought of that," Mira explained in character. "That's why there's a new rule for returning bikes. You have to snap a picture of your properly parked bike to prove you left it in the right spot. It prevents exactly that kind of scam..."
The entire skit lasted only twenty minutes. Not only was it genuinely funny, but it also seamlessly educated the audience on the new parking guidelines and the bounty system.
Aidan and Gavin were both award-winning actors, so they played their roles effortlessly. Mira's acting was a bit rough around the edges in comparison.
She wasn't a professional actress, after all, and didn't dedicate her time to honing the craft.
But the minor flaws didn't matter. With the two handsome actors supporting her, her performance felt perfectly natural.
Mira had initially only planned to bring her old stage partner, Gavin, but when she heard Aidan was dying to join, she brought him along too.
They were all signed to her company. Giving them exposure was a win-win situation; the more famous they got, the better it was for Solflare Entertainment.
Of course, integrating an EcoRide commercial into a comedy skit meant she had to cut a hefty check to the television network.
Mira's second appearance was a duet with Gavin, performing Lune's brand-new song, "The Horizon's Call."
Tonight, we drink until the dawn,
Sing loud, let the sorrow be gone.
Raise a glass to the endless sky,
Pour the wine, let the past fly by.
Tonight, we drink until the dawn,
Sing loud, let the sorrow be gone.
Together we toast to the home we left behind...
The lyrics had been slightly tweaked from her past life's version to better capture the homesickness and longing of wanderers missing their families during the holidays.
A new track from Lune was already highly anticipated.
