Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 295

Felix Grant was already waiting with his team at the arrivals gate.

“Ms. Mercer, Mr. Lance, Mr. Holt, VP Sterling, our superstar Gavin, and our leading man Aidan... and who might this be?”

Felix shook hands and greeted everyone warmly until he reached Harvey Rivers, pausing in uncertainty.

“He's one of our major shareholders. Should we call you Mr. Rivers, or something else?” Mira asked Harvey.

“Just Mr. Rivers is fine.”

“A pleasure, Mr. Rivers.”

Felix then gestured to the man beside him. “This is Cyrus Montgomery, the Vice President of our EcoRide branch here in Aethelgard.”

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Montgomery.”

“Boss, the hotel is all set. Shall we—”

“Let's head to the hotel first.”

It was a relief having their own people on the ground. Felix had orchestrated everything perfectly.

Everyone had luggage, so they needed to check in, grab a bite, and rest for a moment before heading to the new office building for an afternoon briefing.

Felix added, “This is Willa Wright. She'll be serving as your temporary executive assistant while you're in the city, Ms. Mercer.”

“You always think of everything, Felix.”

Logically, Mira needed a permanent assistant and secretary.

However, she was still a student. She only stepped in to make high-level decisions and preferred to play the role of a silent partner the rest of the time.

Given the size of their party, Felix had arranged a sleek convoy of eight black Audis. The vehicles drove in perfect formation toward the hotel, drawing stares from pedestrians on the street.

“Who's the VIP?”

“No idea.”

During the ride, Mira turned to Felix. “Has the issue with EcoRide been resolved?”

“Fully handled. The strategy you and Mr. Lance suggested worked perfectly. They have absolutely nothing left to nitpick,” Felix said with a broad smile.

“You've been working hard. You've managed the operations here flawlessly.”
