Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 30

Seeing her master about to leave, Mira wanted to call out to him, but on second thought, she decided to focus on mastering the fundamentals first. You have to walk before you can run.

Mira began to practice earnestly, especially the moves her master had just corrected, not moving on until Owen confirmed each one was perfect.

The continuous high-intensity movements didn’t leave Mira feeling exhausted. Instead, she gradually found her rhythm, feeling more and more proficient.

She couldn’t help but feel that since her rebirth, her body had become exceptionally light. Both her strength and flexibility were far better than in her previous life.

The other students practicing nearby cast disbelieving glances her way.

Even Owen commented, “I didn’t expect you to be such a fighter.”

When he first saw Mira today, he had assumed she was just a pampered young lady wanting to learn a few showy moves. He hadn’t expected her to be so resilient.

Two hours passed quickly. Owen said, “Class is over. That’s all for today. Be sure to practice on your own.

If you want to achieve anything in this field, you have to be persistent. From now on, practice for two hours every morning and evening.”

Mira knew that in martial arts, fundamentals were crucial. Without physical conditioning and power, even the best techniques were just for show.

“Owen, should I add weights to my training?”

“It looks like you haven’t trained in a long time. First, get used to the morning and evening practices on top of the two-hour class.

When you feel like practicing six hours a day is easy, then you can start adding weights.”

After martial arts class, although Mira wasn’t completely exhausted, she was definitely tired. If you couldn’t endure hardship, you really couldn’t learn this.

She took a quick shower in the academy’s facilities and changed her clothes. By then, she had two hours left before her art class.

She bought a chicken burger and a carton of milk from a nearby shop to refuel, rested for a bit, and then headed to Arclight Arts Academy.

Lania was very professional and was already waiting in the classroom.
