Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 312

She had caused a massive scene yesterday, nearly causing a disaster before someone finally dragged her away.

Now she was back with a brand-new excuse, claiming she wanted a room. Did she think anyone was stupid enough to buy that?

The guests at this hotel were Aethelgard's elite. Security wasn't about to let this woman ruin their stay.

"Do you have any idea who I am?" Quinn shrieked. "I'm a global pop sensation!"

"Right, and if you're a pop sensation, I'm a legendary empress," the guard scoffed.

"Even if you were the President, we still wouldn't let you through those doors today."

It all made sense now.

A guest from the day before had mentioned this woman was a delusional stalker who liked to pretend she was famous. It was spot on.

"Leave the premises right now, or we're calling the police."

"She really is a massive star!" her assistant piped up frantically.

"If you don't let us in, I'm filing a formal complaint! You'll all lose your jobs!"

"It's bad enough you let your crazy friend off her leash, but enabling her delusions? You people are sick," the guard spat.

"Who the hell are you calling crazy?"

Quinn lunged forward, slapping the security guard hard across the face.

"Do you know who I am?!" she screamed.

Suddenly, a bright flash of light blinded her. Quinn whipped her head around and realized several paparazzi were practically hiding in the bushes, snapping photos of her outburst.

Panic seized her. She threw her hands over her face and bolted, but the guard she'd just slapped grabbed her arm in a vice grip.

Her assistants rushed in to intervene, but the other guards quickly swarmed them. Within seconds, Quinn was pinned.

"Just a total lunatic running loose and hurting people," the guard growled, glaring at her assistants.

"Call the cops. And see if you can get a psych ward on the line while you're at it."

It didn't take long for the police to arrive with sirens blaring, hauling both Quinn and her panicked assistants away.

"I'm not a psycho! I'm a massive celebrity! I'm Quinn Montgomery!" she shrieked as they shoved her into the back of a squad car.

"We'll let a psych eval determine that, ma'am," an officer replied dryly.

"And if you're Quinn Montgomery, then I'm George Washington," a guard called out from the curb.
