He pushed the shock aside and scrambled to restore his system. True to his reputation, he had it running again in minutes. He immediately logged into his bank account.

Lucian called Owen, furious. "Did you give her my information?!"

"Yes," Owen's cold voice came through the speaker.

"How could you do that?! I'm an employee of the Lance Family! You're supposed to protect my privacy! If people find out you leak employee info to outsiders, no one will ever work for you!" Lucian roared.

"An insubordinate employee is useless to me. And Mira isn't an outsider. She's my friend."

"Your friend?!"

"Yes."

"Give me her info! She just wiped out my three million dollars!"

"Leave Porter Entertainment immediately and drop this fight, and I'll have her return the money. Lucian, I'm giving you one last chance because of your talent. Mira is shorting Porter for a reason. They aren't innocent. If you're smart, you'll walk away. If you don't, I will give her every resource I have to crush you."

At the hospital, Fiona opened her eyes. "How is Mara?"

Adrian glared at her. "You almost died, and you're still asking about her?" He couldn't understand why she still cared for such a venomous daughter.

"Where is she, Adrian?"

Adrian looked out the window. Fiona was weak, and he didn't want to upset her, but she wouldn't stop asking. He almost felt bad for her. She had poured everything into that one child, and it turned out to be a monster. Why were Lacey's children so successful?

"She's in the Riverdale Detention Center. She poisoned you. The police took her away."
