"Sebastian, I assumed you already knew. How are you still in the dark?"
Mira pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling a wave of exhaustion.
Despite how awful Gwen and Seraphina were, Mira still held a tiny sliver of respect for Sebastian because he had saved her life when she was born.
But clearly, the man barely paid attention to anything regarding her.
Everyone in Melvion City knew she owned Solflare Group after the massive fallout with Porter Entertainment. A simple background check by the Quinns would have revealed the truth instantly.
"What am I supposed to know?"
"I am the owner of Solflare Group."
She let the silence stretch for a moment before continuing. "Solflare Group is mine. Owen just helps me run it.
Technically, he's a minority shareholder in some of the ventures, but he doesn't hold nearly as much equity as I do.
I built Solflare from the ground up, and I hold an absolute majority stake of over fifty-one percent."
"That's impossible! The company was founded a year ago when you were still in high school!"
"Believe whatever you want."
Mira promptly hung up.
She hoped dropping that bomb would force Sebastian to re-evaluate his precious alliance with the Lance family, but whatever he chose to do next was his problem.
Meanwhile, at the Quinn estate.
"Dad, well? Is she going to lend me the dress?"
Seraphina demanded, her eyes wide with desperate anticipation the second the call ended.
Sebastian stared at his phone, utterly speechless.
"Did she say yes or no, Sebastian? Say something!"
Gwen snapped.
