Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 821

Arriving in the Javenaire Federation, it was eight in the evening Mavaria time, but exactly seven in the morning locally.

Hank Whitlock's arranged pickup team had already arrived; the leader was an Asian man with a Mavarian accent who Hank called Vaughn, though his features didn't look entirely Mavarian.

The rest of the crew appeared to be mostly Caucasian, along with two imposing bodyguards.

"Should we head to the hotel first or Wall Street?"

Everyone unanimously agreed to drop off their luggage and grab a bite before heading out to familiarize themselves with the environment.

According to Mavarian time, they should have been resting by now, but here it was early morning; they would just have to push through today and sleep when night fell locally.

No matter how exhausted they were, a good night's sleep would completely fix their jet lag by tomorrow morning.

Several cars pulled up to the entrance of a high-end establishment, and Hank informed them, "We've arrived at the hotel."

After stepping out, he turned to Mira and the others. "This is the most luxurious hotel near Wall Street. Both the service and the level of privacy are exceptional."

It made sense; the patrons here were exclusively wealthy and influential, billionaires from all over the world gathered in one place, their bank accounts loaded with massive funds.

They couldn't care less about the cost of a room, but their demands for absolute discretion were incredibly strict.

"Please follow me."

The group trailed closely behind their guide.

Traveling abroad meant everyone had changes of clothes, laptops, and the like; the bodyguards were hauling an assortment of large and small suitcases, and even Mira and the assistants had their hands full.

Just then, they noticed a middle-aged Asian man continuously assisting Caucasian guests with their luggage.

"Hello, could you help me with my bags?"

Beatrice Whitlock was struggling a bit with her heavy belongings and tried to call him over for a hand.

But the man acted as if he hadn't heard a thing.

Harvey Rivers remarked, "Probably a foreigner who doesn't understand our language."
