They were top-tier experts who'd killed more people than they could count!
But the opposite happened!
Under Margaret's unblinking stare, an inexplicable, eerie fear slowly engulfed them, creeping into their hearts and making them tremble involuntarily!!
Her eyes were so cold!
Murderous intent oozed from her, as cold and cruel as a devil's gaze—terrifying to the core!!
That tangible killing aura...
It was like she had killed more people than the two of them combined!
"Hey, how do you guys like the idea of a bullet to the head?"
Her cold, mocking voice sounded like it was coming from the dark, bloody depths of hell.
Under her stare, the two men felt chills down their spines for the first time.
In her eyes, they saw arrogance and disdain—the contempt of a strong person for the weak.
They were top-tier fighters, yet to her, they were no more than insignificant ants.
It is terrifying! Who the hell is she?
Margaret seemed to think of something, a breathtaking sneer curling her lips. "I've got a fun idea."
The smile was beautiful on her face, yet it sent shivers down the assassins' spines!
It was a smile as terrifying as a devil's!
Margaret turned to the two black-clad guards, her voice cold. "Blindfold them."
"Yes."
The guards stepped forward, each tying a black cloth over the assassins' eyes.
"Brat! W-what are you gonna do?"
"Let us go!"
With their eyes covered, the world went pitch black. A suffocating, paralyzing killing intent coiled around them—they could barely breathe!
"You'll find out soon. I'm gonna play a fun game with you," Margaret said with a smile, her tone mysterious and cold-blooded.
Even Walter felt a chill down his back when he saw her smile.
She was so beautiful, yet she felt like a ruthless killer with no regard for human life!
Margaret fetched a basin of water and placed it in front of the two assassins.
"Slash their wrists and let them bleed to death slowly!"
Her cold, merciless voice echoed in their ears, and the assassins were overcome with extreme fear!
A moment later, they felt a sharp pain in their wrists.
Blindfolded, they couldn't see a thing, but they could feel their wrist arteries being cut open!
Then, in the darkness, they heard the sound of blood dripping into the water.
That girl is ruthless, a devil! How could she come up with such a cruel method!
Drip-drop!
They felt their bodies growing weaker and weaker; they must be almost out of blood...

Meanwhile, Margaret, Andrew, and Walter had left the basement and returned to the living room.
Walter stared at Margaret, finally giving in to his curiosity. "Ms. Tucker, are you gonna let those two go?"
Margaret looked at him in confusion. "No. They tried to kill Andrew—why would I let them live? I'm not a saint."
In fact, she was more like the Reaper himself!
Walter was even more confused now. He pressed on, "But you were scared of them earlier. You didn't actually cut their wrists."
Even though Margaret had said she'd slash their wrists, she'd only used the back of the knife to scrape them lightly.
Not a single drop of blood had been shed.
Faced with Walter's confusion, Margaret just gave a bloodthirsty smile. "Don't worry, they won't die. We'll just see how long they can hold on."
Watching Margaret look so confident, Walter was even more puzzled.
If the assassins have no wounds on their wrists, how the heck are they supposed to die?
"Andrew, I'm hungry."
Margaret ignored Walter, turning to Andrew and patting her flat stomach.
