Impossible!
How could Raymond know?
I've covered my tracks so carefully back then.
Why is there a recording?
Raymond stared down at Clara, his eyes sharp as knives. "You knew my body was different. That herb might be fine for others, but for me—it's poison. And you still tricked Margaret into using it."
When Margaret first came back from the countryside, he'd actually liked her.
But back then, he'd been a rebellious kid, putting on a cold face to everyone—so he hadn't paid her much attention.
Then one time, he caught a cold and got sick.
Margaret made him oatmeal. At first, he was touched—thought she was thoughtful. But after eating it, he was poisoned.
When he woke up, he was in the hospital. It was Clara who had called for help.
From that moment on, he started favoring Clara—and resenting Margaret.
Later, he asked Margaret why she'd poisoned him.
But back then, when he confronted her, Margaret just hung her head, trembling, and stayed silent.
He thought she was scared—guilty.
He gave up on her completely.
After that, he moved out of Tucker Villa and never cared about Margaret again.
Raymond looked away from Clara and spoke impatiently. "Someone! Take her away. Make her kneel outside all night."
"Yes, sir."
Two tall bodyguards stepped forward.
"Raymond, this is a misunderstanding! The documents are fake—Margaret framed me!
"Raymond, I never meant to hurt you! You have to believe me! I didn't do it!"
Clara shook violently.
Panic rushed through her.
Of all the Tucker brothers, Raymond was the only one who had treated her like a real sister.
She couldn't lose him.
Raymond's eyes turned icy, filled with disgust. He was afraid he might lose control and kill her now. "Do it now."
The two bodyguards grabbed Clara and dragged her to the open space outside the villa.
The door slammed shut behind her.
"Kneel."

That night, at Tucker Villa, Nichole smiled at Matthew in the living room. "Clara went to see Raymond. It's been hours and she's not back—she must be staying for dinner. Edward and the others will surely help Clara."
Seeing Matthew's dark expression, Nichole added, a bit displeased, "I told you not to blame her anymore. In this family, your sons don't listen to you. Only Clara gets along well with Raymond."
Hearing that, Matthew's face softened a little.
It was true—in the Tucker family, only Clara was close to Raymond.
If he wanted Raymond on his side, he'd need Clara's help.
Seeing his mood lift, Nichole couldn't help but bring up Margaret on purpose. "Still no word from Margaret?"
Sure enough, at the mention of Margaret, Matthew's face darkened again.
"That ungrateful girl! Who knows where she ran off to? Does she even care about this family? She'd better not come back—just looking at her annoys me!"
Nichole smiled to herself, pleased. The more he hates that hick, the better.
She hid her satisfaction, putting on a worried look. "Matthew, Margaret's been missing for three or four days. Should we call the police?"
Remembering how Margaret had humiliated him, Matthew lost his temper. "Call the police? Let her go wherever she wants! I don't have a disrespectful daughter like her. It's none of my business!"
Just then, a servant spoke up. "Mr. Evans, Mr. Raymond Tucker's car is outside."
Nichole's face lit up with joy. "It must be Clara—she stayed for dinner, and Raymond's bringing her back himself. He really dotes on her, driving her back this late."
