Margaret heard his voice, but her heart remained completely untouched.
If only he'd known this would happen, why did he act like that in the first place?
But after taking just a few steps, Margaret had to stop and rub her brows.
Her head was throbbing.
The original owner's subconscious, hidden deep within the body, was begging her to save Raymond.
For the first time, a hint of confusion flickered in Margaret's unfeeling eyes.
She didn't understand why the original owner would want to save Raymond.
Shouldn't she hate him?
Is this what they call family love?
Margaret had been an orphan since she could remember. Her life had only ever included herself. Growing up in the organization had made her heart of stone.
She couldn't fathom the original owner's feelings.
Still, if the original owner wanted her to save Raymond, she would.
After all, she was using her body.
Margaret turned around.
She walked back to Raymond, knelt down, and looked at him as he slipped back into unconsciousness.
Her eyes were cold as she whispered softly, "I have to admit, you've got a good sister."
Then, a strange glow emanated from Margaret's two-colored eyes.
The glow surrounded Raymond's body.
Inside his body, an astonishing change took place. His shattered internal organs slowly repaired themselves, the bleeding stopped, and his wounds healed, restoring everything to perfection!
A few minutes later, Raymond slowly opened his eyes. Through his blurred vision, he saw an exquisitely beautiful face.
So beautiful...
Have I died and gone to heaven?
Is this an angel?
The angel looked just like Maggie...
Raymond felt his entire body bathed in sunlight, warm and cozy.
Is this heaven?
He stared dumbly at the pretty face that was identical to Margaret's, and couldn't help but say, "Are you an angel?"
Margaret replied coldly, "No. I'm the devil."
The warm, heavenly atmosphere vanished in an instant!
Margaret stood up, then kicked Raymond on the ground in disgust. "If you're not dead, get up. Don't hold me back from class."
"Ouch..."
Raymond, kicked twice without mercy, couldn't help but grimace in pain.
Although Margaret had healed his internal organs, she'd left his external wounds untouched. After all, he was tough as nails—letting him hurt a little wouldn't matter.
"Maggie... I'm not dead?"
Raymond climbed up from the ground, patted his body, and was shocked to find he could still move. What was going on?
Do girls always smell this good? It's not that strong, cloying perfume stuff—just this nice, totally indescribable scent!
Raymond was stunned.
Her voice was filled with bloodthirsty killing intent, sending an inexplicable chill down his spine!
Raymond quickly pulled back his eager hands, settling for gripping the handrails on either side of the seat instead.
Vroom!
The bike roared to life, charging forward like a galloping wild horse!
Raymond, sitting on the back seat, widened his eyes in disbelief.
So fast! So steady!

By the time Margaret and Raymond reached school, the first class had already started.
Margaret parked the bike casually, and the two walked toward the teaching building.
Margaret walked ahead at a leisurely pace, while Raymond limped along behind her, calling out. "Maggie, wait for me..."
Margaret ignored him completely.
When they reached the corridor of the teaching building, before they even got close to the classroom, they heard a noisy commotion inside.
Margaret hadn't been to school for two or three days, so the class had quickly reverted to its usual unruly state.
Margaret pushed the door open and walked into the classroom with a calm expression.
The noisy class fell completely silent the moment she appeared!
