Anyone who had a problem with the Tucker or Miller families was secretly pleased. They were already thinking of ways to make trouble for them later.
Some people were happy. Others were miserable.
Those rich heirs and ladies who had bullied Margaret before were now scared. They were terrified she would come for revenge.
Just a moment ago, her piercing, dangerous eyes had scanned the room. She looked like a predator from

Not only had she changed, but she also had Edward on her side now.
Yeah, they were starting to regret everything.
Matthew and Nichole had taken the unconscious Clara to a back room to rest.
Margaret was feeling tired. This body was still too weak, and sleep was calling her.
She turned to go.
Suddenly, a chubby little boy, about impugard
seven or eight, came running out. He was holding a toy water gun. He squirted Margaret, and said with a look full of self-righteousness, “You’re a bad woman! Bumpkin! Stop right there! I’m a hero! I caught you! Apologize now!”
Her black dress had a wet patch from the

as chilly, without a trace of warmth.
It was a dress that man in the wheelchair had given her.
She turned and saw the proud, fat little boy glaring up a her like he was in charge.
The kid was Jimmy Evans, Matthew and Nichole’s son. Maybe because he was the only child Matthew truly saw as his own, both his parents spoiled him terribly. It made him mean and badly behaved.
Ever since Margaret came to the Tucker Villa, this little Bully had been tricked by Clara. He believed Margaret was a villain trying to steal his parents. He played all sorts of nasty tricks on her.
The original Margaret was shy and kind. Even when he hurt her, she thought he was just a kid and let it go. That just made him worse.
Once, he bought a “toy” gun. It was strong enough to hut small animals.
He shot her with it. It left her sore for days and she couldn’t sleep. One pellet hit her face and almost blinded her.
She finally got angry and told Matthew, but he just said. “He’s just a kid playing around.”
Shaking off the memory, Margaret’s lips curled into a frosty smile. She stared at the plump boy. “You ruined my dress.”

Jimmy shrank back under her icy stare, his round face going blank for a second.
“Y-You asked for it! You’re a country girl! And you were hean to Clara! You’re bad!”
He was used to bullying Margaret. Even though he was scared, he tried to act tough.
He raised the water gun to shoot her again. “I’ll get you!’ll get the bad woman!”
But before he could pull the trigger, Margaret snatched the gun right out of his hands.

“Hey! Give it back! Don’t you touch me! My dad bought that! Give it back! If you break it, you can’t pay for it!” he screamed.
Margaret looked at the toy, her features set in a cold line. Then she threw it hard onto the floor. It broke into pieces.
“Bad! You’re so bad! You broke my toy! I’m telling Mom and Dad! They’ll punish you!”
He stood there, shocked that she had actually broken it.
He was shaking, a mix of anger and fear, and was about to start crying loudly.
“You like spraying people? Let me show you how it’s really done.”
Her eyes were chilly, and a bloodthirsty, playful smile curled at the corner of her lips. That smile was bone- chilling.
She grabbed a full bottle of champagne from a nearby table. Without any mercy, she poured the entire thing over his head.
“Cough! Mom! Dad! She’s bullying me!”
The champagne went up his nose. His face scrunched up, and he started wailing.
He tried to hit her, but Margaret just put one hand on his shoulder. It looked like nothing, but the chubby little boy couldn’t move an inch.
“Cough, cough! Help! The bad woman’s killing me! Mom! Dad!
“Cough! It hurts!”
No matter how much he cried, Margaret’s face didn’t change. There was zero pity in her beautiful, unfeeling features.
One bottle was empty. She grabbed another. Then another.
Soon, Jimmy was soaked from head to toe.
His face was red from coughing and choking.
He looked like he might pass out.
A few guests who hadn’t left yet watched. Fear and disgust showed in their eyes.
Margaret was this cruel even to a child.

Edward stood nearby and didn’t lift a finger to stop her. He acted like this half-brother was a complete stranger.
“Margaret! What are you doing to my son?! Ah! You’re crazy!”
Nichole heard the crying and ran out of the lounge. She saw Margaret torturing her precious boy.
She rushed over, forgetting all about her dignity. Her son was more important than anything.
Seeing Nichole, Margaret finally stopped. Her face was still calm and distant.
Nichole pulled her son into a tight hug.
“Mom… Mom…”
The kid was terrified, stuttering over his words, his whole body trembling.
A sharp, sour smell of urine rose from him.
Margaret frowned and took a step back, pure disgust in her eyes.
Seeing her son in this state, Nichole’s heart felt twisted. She glared at Margaret, her eyes burning with hate. “How can you be so evil! Jimmy’s just a little boy! And you tortured him like this!”
Margaret pulled out a tissue and slowly wiped the wine off her hands, exuding an elegant grace.
She gave a faint, sickly-sweet smile that didn’t reach her eyes. “Listen, old woman, keep your little thing under control. Or I might just make you bury him.”
Nichole flinched, a wave of pure terror hitting her. For a second, Margaret looked like the angel of death- detached and without mercy.
The chilling feeling wrapped around Nichole like a thick fog. She could hardly breathe. Her hands and feet turned to ice.
