Chapter 51 False Worry
With this big setup, they’d thought they were gearing up for a gang war. But only one girl showed up?
And she was in a school uniform-still a student?
Margaret walked into the factory, still holding her umbrella open. She stopped right in front of Ruby.
The mountain road was muddy from the rain, but Margaret was spotless-no dirt anywhere except the unavoidable mud on her shoe soles.
She frowned at the mud on her shoes. She hated it.
“Margaret! You actually dared to come!” Ruby’s eyes blazed with fury when she saw Margaret. Her face twisted with the humiliation she’d suffered earlier.
Margaret glanced at her, expression unchanged. Her clear voice stayed cold and calm. “Why wouldn’t I?”
Back in her past life, she’d been chased by an entire army and never felt scared. Since her second year in the organization, she’d forgotten what fear even was.
“You hick, don’t get cocky! I’ll kill you in a minute!”
Margaret’s lofty, calm attitude made Ruby grind her teeth in anger. She’d hoped to see fear on Margaret’s face when she saw all these men. But Margaret didn’t care at all.
It was like she didn’t even notice the 30 guys here. That ticked Ruby off more than anything.
She’d make Margaret beg for mercy soon enough.

Meanwhile, at the school infirmary, Rickie and the others had run out of options and headed back.
When Clara heard Raymond was knocked out, she came to take care of him.
Of all the Tucker brothers, Raymond was the only one close to Clara. The other brothers didn’t like Margaret, but they weren’t close to Clara either.
Raymond was fond of Clara because she’d saved his life To him, she was his savior.
“Guys, why are you back?” Clara sat beside the hospital bed-Raymond was still unconscious. She looked like the picture of a caring sister.
When they saw Clara, Rickie and the others felt a spark of hope. “Clara, can you call your brother Edward? Tell him his sister Margaret’s in trouble-she needs him. Otherwise, she might die!”
After thinking it over, the only person who could save Margaret was the legendary Edward. If Edward showed up, even the Black Dragon Gang wouldn’t dare touch her.
But they had no way to contact someone as powerful as Edward. So they’d rushed back to the infirmary to find Clara-she must have Edward’s contact info.
Clara looked surprised, then wore a worried expression. What do you mean? Did something happen to Margaret?”

“She got into a fight with a girl in our class. That girl’s family’s in the Black Dragon Gang-she called dozens of gang members to get her!” Rickie explained, panic in his voice.
Clara’s eyebrows furrowed secretly. Why are these guys so worried about Margaret? They all ignored her before.
But inside, she was over the moon. She knew how terrifying the Black Dragon Gang was. Margaret had stupidly messed with them-she was asking for death!
She’d been looking for a chance to get rid of Margaret, and now fate was on her side.
Outside, though, she looked like she was about to cry. “How could she mess with the Black Dragon Gang? Will they kill her?”
“You’re really kind-hearted,” someone muttered when they saw her reaction.
“I… I’ll call Edward right now. If he comes, nothing will happen to her!” Clara fumbled for her phone, looking frantic. The guys beside her grew equally anxious.
But the call rang and rang-no answer.
Clara looked like she was about to burst into tears. “What do we do? Edward must be busy. His phone’s off. He’s not picking up!”
In truth, she hadn’t even called Edward. She didn’t have his personal number at all.
“What now? Margaret is probably face-to-face with the Black Dragon Gang by now!” Rickie and the others turned pale, like they’d just gotten a death sentence. Their last hope was gone.
“Should we call the police?” someone suggested.
Clara looked at them, feigning concern. “Guys, is that a food idea? I heard the Black Dragon Gang’s ruthless. If they find out you called the cops, they’ll get revenge on you.”
