“Let’s go!” Raymond ignored the pain, limping toward the abandoned factory on the hill as fast as he could.
A few minutes later, they reached the factory, gasping for air. But the scene at the entrance stopped them cold.
A wide square stretched from the gate to the factory. Now, thirty-odd men in black lay sprawled across the muddy ground-bruised, swollen, and groaning in agony. Each of them had injuries, some worse than others.
It was a shocking sight. They looked like they’d been in fight-one where they’d gotten absolutely demolished.
“What the hell happened?” Raymond grabbed one of the men off the ground.
Did Margaret call Edward? Was this Edward’s doing?
Raymond refused to believe Margaret had taken down 30 guys alone. The other boys felt the same.
Sure, Margaret was strong. But even the strongest person had limits. Taking on 30 men and winning? Not even action movies dared pull that.
The guy Raymond grabbed winced in pain, but his eyes lit up with excitement. “She’s insane! That girl’s insane!”
Raymond’s brow furrowed.
What does that mean? Has Margaret actually been the crap out of all these guys?
That is impossible. It makes zero sense!
“Ah! Help! Someone help me!” A shrill scream of agony ut through the air from inside the factory.
Raymond and the others snapped out of their shock and raced inside.
In the empty factory, Margaret stood out immediately-holding a black umbrella, a striking figure amid the
mess.
“Margaret! Are you okay?” Raymond called out.
But something felt off.
Margaret was standing, her uniform top spotless. Only er pants were wet and caked in mud.
On the ground, a pool of bright red blood spread across the concrete.
Ruby lay there-the blood was hers.
Margaret held her umbrella in one hand and a knife in the other. She looked down at Ruby with a totally blank face, her weird but beautiful two-colored eyes dead cold and empty.
Under that black umbrella, she looked like a dark girl stopping out of hell-bloody, eerie, and terrifying.
“Your blood smells terrible,” she said, squatting down. Her clear voice held a hint of bloodthirsty excitement. “What if I drain every drop from your body?”

Ruby’s face was frozen in terror. She was too scared to speak.
“No answer? I’ll take that as a yes.”

As soon as the words left her mouth, she drove the knife into Ruby’s thigh without hesitation.
“Ah! It hurts! I’m dying!” Ruby’s screams echoed through the factory-like a horror movie scene, sending chills down everyone’s spines.
Raymond and the others stood there, dumbfounded. A cold shiver ran down their spines, freezing them to the core.
Ruby had multiple wounds, but none were fatal. Margaret really was planning to drain her blood-slowly.
It was brutal. But what shocked them most was Margaret’s calm. She acted like she was doing something totally ordinary-like tying her shoes.
She didn’t even blink when she stuck the knife in Ruby’s thigh.
It made one wonder-just how strong and cold-hearted must she be inside?
Raymond managed to stay calm, but the other boys were completely freaked out.
They were troublemakers, sure, but they only fought with fists. They’d never seen anything this bloody.
“You thought this knife could kill me?” Margaret pulled the bloodied knife out of Ruby’s thigh-making Ruby convulse in pain.
She held the blade up in front of Ruby’s eyes. The sharp metal glinted coldly.
Looking at that knife, Ruby felt pure despair. It was hers She’d tried to sneak up behind Margaret and stab her to death with it.
But Margaret had known-like she had eyes in the back of her head.
She’s not even human! She’s a freaking devil—a bloodthirsty monster who just took out every single one of my guys!
Margaret twirled the knife in her hand, tapping the flat side against Ruby’s cheek. Her voice was icy. “You don’t even know how to kill someone. Want me to teach you?”
