That’s why the bald programmer was left in such shock.

The call went through quickly.

A calm, deep, and magnetic voice came from the other end. “What’s going on?”

The bald programmer reported nervously, “Dr. Tucker! It’s bad! Our telecom system’s under attack-and the hacker got through the first firewall!”

Unlike the panicking programmer, Arthur stayed perfectly calm. His voice held a hint of surprise. “Someone actually broke through the first firewall?

“To get past my first firewall… guess not all hackers are idiots.” Arthur sounded almost impressed.

The red alarm on the screen kept flashing. The programmer grew more anxious. “Dr. Tucker, what do we do now?”

“Why the rush?” Arthur’s calm voice was full of confidence, like he had everything under control. The system has 15 firewalls total. Each one gets stronger. This guy just got lucky with the first one. They’re not a threat.

Arthur’s tone was dismissive-calm, but with a cocky confidence. He clearly trusted his system completely. And he had every right to be cocky.

Arthur Tucker was a total legend in Karemin, in Capaville, and around the world.

He had the highest IQ on the planet. His titles were all dazzling and unbelievable.

He got the highest score in the history of the SATS.

He was the youngest PhD ever at Harandor University, a prominent university.

He was an academic legend.

Hearing Arthur’s voice, the bald programmer started to relax.

Right! Dr. Tucker’s systems have never been hacked. Why am I even worrying? Probably that hacker just got lucky, hit the right spot by total accident.

He exhaled and sat back down. “Dr. Tucker, I guess I overreacted. I’ll hang up now…”

He was about to end the call when a robotic voice echoed in the room.

“Warning! Warning! Second firewall malfunction detected! Immediate repair required!”

The cold, mechanical sound felt like a slap in the face. The room went silent for a few seconds.

The programmer jumped up again, panic back in his voice. “Dr. Tucker! The hacker broke through the

second firewall!”

There was a pause on the line. Arthur’s tone turned serious. “This guy’s actually got skills.”

Arthur looked like a gentle scholar-easy to get along with. But people who knew him well knew he was incredibly proud. Few people impressed him. When he praised someone, that person was truly exceptional

Then Arthur’s confident voice came again. “But this is as far as they go. Breaking the third firewall? Even a genius would need at least a full day. Assuming they can even figure out how.”

He chuckled, utterly calm and confident, like everything was still under his control. But no sooner had he spoken than the robotic voice blared again.

“Warning! Warning! Third firewall malfunction detected!”

Arthur’s voice cut off mid-sentence. That was one instant slap in his face.

The programmer felt awkward. He pretended not to hear Arthur’s earlier words and asked, “Dr. Tucker, what now?”

“Stay calm. The firewalls get way harder from here. Even a smart hacker needs time. Not even the legendary Hacker God could break the fourth one in less than a few hours!”

The shift in Arthur’s tone was clear. He wasn’t as dismissive as before.

Arthur was confident and proud, but never blindly arrogant. He knew he was up against a real pro.
