Only Walter, just a doctor, couldn’t stay calm. He panicked a little and asked, “Your Highness, is there an assassin outside?”

“It’s fine.” Charlotte sipped her coffee gracefully, looking calm and confident.

“The bodyguards outside are Karemin’s elite soldiers-the best of the best I handpicked from the military. No matter how skilled the assassin is, they’ll never get past that screen.”

Outside the room, Margaret stood straight, her face cold and calm.

Her eyes scanned the several black-clad bodyguards in front of her-men with strong builds and fierce eyes.
