I needed Blake to give me one, in person.

My assistant had found out Blake was at his own house. With my driver and bodyguard in tow, we headed straight for

Blake’s villa.

That villa was a gift from me to him.

But when I arrived, what greeted me was the deafening sound of heavy metal music.

And through the door and windows, I could hear the raucous sounds of men and women.

He was throwing a party. No wonder he hadn’t answered my call earlier.

The villa door was slightly ajar. For some reason, I didn’t immediately push it open.

Soon, I heard a familiar, tearful voice.

It was Zoe.

She was crying to everyone in the room, painting herself as the victim of an arrogant mistress and being unjustly

blamed.

…I just asked her to settle the bill, and she threw a million in my face, then had me fired…”

“Blake, she’s gone too far. She doesn’t even respect you!”

“She just wants to humiliate me and break us up!”

Blake’s fair–weather friends in the villa were all chiming in, indignant on Zoe’s behalf.

Blake, on the other hand, was loudly comforting Zoe, his voice full of sympathy and affection.

“Zoe, don’t worry, I’ll never allow you to suffer this kind of humiliation!”

Then, as if to prove his resolve, he swore to everyone. “When I catch that woman. I’ll make her kneel and apologize to

you!”

The crowd of rich playboys in the room continued to back Zoe, shouting about how I’d pay the price.

“Blake, just say the word, and my guys will go and hunt her down right now!”

“Exactly! Let her know who’s really in charge here!”

I couldn’t stand it any longer. I raised my hand, and my bodyguard kicked the villa’s door open.

The raucous music stopped instantly. The loud laughter vanished in a heartbeat.

Dozens of stunned eyes all turned toward the door.

“No need to hunt me down. I’m right here. Who wants to teach me

lesson?”
