Trick Him Into Divorce, Then Flee With His Unknow Kid novel Chapter 106

Chapter 106: Chapter 106 The Little Girl Who Saw Through Him

She didn’t explain who Ariel’s parents were.

After all, both of Ariel’s parents were alive.

Ryan was simply busy playing the role of a father to someone else’s child.

When Rose said that, Ryan offered no response.

Instead, he continued studying Ariel thoughtfully.

The intensity of his attention made Rose deeply uncomfortable.

An alarm immediately sounded in her mind.

Not giving him a chance to ask any further questions, she took Ariel’s hand and led her straight into the classroom.

The classroom was spacious, with an open area in the center reserved for games and parent-child activities.

Rose deliberately chose a spot far from the crowd.

Fortunately, Mike kept Ryan occupied.

He simply didn’t have the time to pay attention to her and Ariel.

Only then did Rose finally breathe a sigh of relief.

The games soon began.

From across the room, Rose spotted Ryan standing at the center of the crowd.

Although Mike was both tall and overweight for his age, Ryan lifted him effortlessly to complete the activity.

Nearby, Samantha smiled and cheered them on.

She looked every bit the gentle wife and loving mother.

Anyone watching would have assumed they were a perfectly happy family.

Several mothers gathered around Samantha, openly admiring her.

"Your husband is so patient with children. And he’s incredibly handsome—I honestly thought he was a celebrity."

A smile immediately appeared in Samantha’s eyes.

"Him?" she said lightly. "He’s always been very responsible."

She made no attempt to correct the word husband.

Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced toward Rose.

Lifting her chin slightly, she allowed a trace of smugness to show.

"Look at you two. There are hardly any dads here today. Your husband’s clothes alone look expensive, and that watch must be worth several million dollars. You can tell he’s no ordinary man. For someone so successful to spend so much time with his wife and child—that’s really something to envy."

Another mother immediately joined in.

"With genes like his, you’ve only had one child? What a waste! You should have more."

Samantha raised an eyebrow.

An older mother laughed knowingly.

"Exactly. Have a few more. Men get attached through their children. Once there are kids involved, they won’t wander off. Besides, you’re beautiful enough already."

A hint of embarrassment crossed Samantha’s face.

"You’re all too kind."

As for the rest of the comments, she simply let them stand.

Rose lowered her gaze and gently covered Ariel’s ear.

"Sweetie, do you want to play another game later?"

Although Ariel didn’t understand why her ears were being covered, she obediently nodded.

Meanwhile, Mike had already finished his activity.

The moment he saw Ariel, he ran over.

"Aren’t your parents here with you?" he asked with a grin. "That’s so pathetic. Don’t you have a dad?"

At those words, Ariel’s face immediately reddened.

Confusion and hurt flashed through her innocent eyes.

Still, she instinctively tightened her grip on Rose’s hand.

"I don’t need a dad," she said quietly. "As long as I have my mom, that’s enough."

Mike only became more arrogant.

"So you really don’t have one? Isn’t that basically the same as being an orphan? Nobody protects you. Unlike me. I’m the happiest kid in the whole kindergarten today."

Ariel remained silent.

Her eyes turned red, but she neither cried nor threw a tantrum.

Rose couldn’t help wondering how thoroughly the Hill family had spoiled this little brat.

Especially when he used the word orphan.

The word struck directly at the most vulnerable place in her heart.

The truth was that Ariel’s father wasn’t absent.

He had simply chosen to place others above his own family.

Rose’s expression turned cold.

Fixing Mike with a stern look, she spoke in the same firm tone adults often used to discipline children.

"If you bully Ariel again, I’ll tell every child in this kindergarten that your sister stole someone else’s husband and that you’re the little brother of a homewrecker. Every kid will look down on you. They’ll avoid you, and nobody will want to be your friend."

Mike froze.

His chubby face instantly turned bright red.

He hurriedly looked around to make sure no other children had heard.

Rose nearly laughed.

Look at that.

People always say children don’t understand these things.

But even he knew his sister’s behavior was wrong and embarrassing.

"Rose!"

Samantha had arrived just in time to hear the exchange.

Her face darkened. "Is it really necessary to speak to a child like that? Does bullying a little boy make you feel accomplished?"

Ryan glanced over as well.

Rose merely shrugged.
