Trick Him Into Divorce, Then Flee With His Unknow Kid novel Chapter 130

Chapter 130: Chapter 130 Hong Kong and Unexpected Encounters

In the quiet suite, Ryan’s voice took on a teasing edge, scraping inch by inch against Rose’s already frayed nerves.

Her heart skipped a beat for no apparent reason.

She turned to look at him.

A shadow had already fallen across her vision. As the man strode toward her, his hand brushed lightly against the wall, and the room’s master light switch was turned off—seemingly by accident.

Only the ring of floor lamps beneath the large bed remained illuminated, preventing the suite from plunging into complete darkness.

Rose instinctively took two steps back, but her heel caught on the step beside the bed, and she nearly lost her balance.

Ryan reached out and wrapped an arm around her lower back.

Rose looked up and met his dark eyes. Emotions that were usually hidden beneath the surface now seemed ready to break free, though his expression remained unreadable. He gripped her wrist.

"Don’t fall."

The heat of his palm made Rose’s spine stiffen.

Caught off guard, she stared at him. "Ryan? Are you..."

Her gaze darted toward the drink that still carried a sweet, delicate fragrance.

Something was wrong with that drink.

Ryan’s brow furrowed deeply. His Adam’s apple bobbed sharply, yet he never loosened his grip on her.

Rose hurriedly pushed against his chest.

"How much have you had? Is there something in that drink?"

Many people had toasted Ryan that night.

Although no one dared pressure him to drink, there had been plenty of guests, and after countless rounds of toasts, he was already slightly intoxicated. If something else had been added on top of that, the consequences could be unimaginable.

"Go take a shower first and clear your head."

Rose’s expression darkened as she immediately offered a solution.

Ryan said nothing.

His towering frame radiated an overwhelming sense of pressure, and his breath felt scorching against her skin.

His pupils were slightly dilated as he stared at her. His gaze traced her brows and eyes before drifting slowly to her lips, closing the distance inch by inch.

"Ryan! Look at me. Do you know who I am?"

His long fingers brushed lightly through her hair as he murmured in a low voice, "Baby?"

Clearly, he was already losing his grip on reality.

Furious, Rose raised her free hand and slapped him.

Yet her strength was insignificant compared to his. The blow barely registered as he effortlessly pushed her onto the bed.

Her body bounced against the mattress, and before she could react, he was already above her.

His lips instinctively sought hers.

Rose turned her head away.

His scorching lips landed on her jaw instead.

One of his hands found the hidden zipper at the small of her back with alarming ease.

A chill ran down Rose’s spine.

The butterfly-wing brooches pinned to their chests brushed against one another, fitting together perfectly like a complete pair of wings.

Rose’s face darkened.

Unable to break free, she fought with all her strength, but every struggle proved useless.

Her eyes reddened, and tears unexpectedly slid down her cheeks.

She raised her hand again and struck him.

"Ryan! I don’t want this! Don’t touch me!"

Lying beneath him, she had little strength left.

The slap carried almost no force.

To an outsider, it might have looked more like a lover’s touch than an act of resistance.

Yet Ryan’s movements slowed.

The haze in his eyes gradually cleared.

What greeted him were Rose’s tear-filled eyes.

She wasn’t sad.

She wasn’t ashamed.

She wasn’t heartbroken.

She was furious.

And she looked at him with undisguised disgust.

Ryan stared at her silently.

He made no further move.

Without any visible emotion, he raised a hand and gently wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes.

Then he stopped.

At that moment, his phone rang.

Ryan closed his eyes briefly before fumbling for the phone and answering it without even looking at the screen.

Rose lay beneath him and could almost hear Samantha’s tearful voice through the receiver.

"Ryan, come find me. Ethan is out of prison. He has two days of leave, and he’s coming to find me..."
