For someone of Matthew’s standing, being seen with a woman in a public place like a mall wasn’t an everyday sight.
It seemed today was Dylan’s lucky day to capture something truly scandalous.
For him, this was a golden opportunity!
Matthew hadn’t taken more than a few steps before he stopped again.
He casually pointed to another bottle on the shelf. “This one looks promising. We’ll take it.”
“Right away.” Andy moved to retrieve it.
“Hold on, let me check.” Arabella’s voice sounded close to Matthew’s ear.
He was truly relentless…
Andy glanced at Matthew, who gave a slight nod and handed the bottle to Arabella.
Arabella examined the label for a moment before handing it back. “Not this one either. Try another.”
“What about that one further down, then,” Matthew suggested naturally.
Just as Andy picked it up, Arabella took it directly from his hands. “This one’s no good either.”
With just a glance, she could assess the quality. Why couldn’t Matthew see how mediocre these products were?
This CEO was seriously lacking in practical life skills…
Arabella shot Matthew a look. Every supplemen he’d chosen had been vetoed by her. She wondered if he’d finally get the hint…
Unexpectedly, almost as soon as she spoke, Matthew had already moved to another aisle and was examining a different box himself.
Seeing he still hadn’t given up, Arabella decided not to waste any more time. She would just pick one for him herself.
She walked over, took the box from his hands, and placed it back on the shelf.
“What are you doing?” Matthew asked.

“You should stop browsing. Just follow me.” With that, Arabella walked ahead.
Matthew watched her back, a slight smile touching the corner of his mouth.

Arabella moved forward, her eyes scanning the shelves for what she had in mind. It didn’t take long for her to find it.
Matthew kept his gaze on her. When he saw her stop, he signaled with his eyes for Andy to assist.
Andy stepped over, took the item down, and handed it to Arabella.
After a brief inspection, Arabella gave a slight, satisfied nod.
“This one will do.” She handed the supplement to Andy.
“One box isn’t enough,” Matthew commented from beside her.
Arabella shot him an exasperated glance, then picked up another identical box from the shelf and handed it over.
“Only two boxes. No more,” she stated firmly, giving Matthew a look that brooked no
argument.
“Fine,” Matthew conceded, finding her serious expression rather amusing.
“You’ve helped out today. Let me buy you lunch Matthew said, offering an appreciative
smile.
“No need. I’m not hungry.” She just wanted to go home and rest, not share a meal with him.
Seeing the refusal in her expression, Matthew sensed her lingering annoyance and didn’t press further. “Alright then, another time. At least let me drive you to your car.”
“I drove myself. No need to trouble yourself, Mr Stewart. Goodbye.” Without waiting for a response, Arabella turned to leave.
She had barely taken a step when she seemed to remember something, paused, and looked back at Matthew. “Don’t let Robert take too much of the supplement. A small, measured dose daily is sufficient.”
Matthew watched her deliver the careful reminder, a faint smile on his lips. “Even if I’m not driving you, you don’t have to rush off.
“Your car is in the parking garage, not at the cur” Matthew pointed out.
“We can walk out together.”

Seeing them leave, Dylan and Harper, who had been hiding behind a large display of vitamin jars, finally dared to peek out in the direction they’d gone.
“Did you get everything?” Dylan asked Harper.
“Got it all.”
“I can’t believe Arabella actually has the nerve to talk back to Mr. Stewart like that,” Harper said, both shocked and intensely curious about their dynamic.
“Yeah, what exactly is their relationship?” Dylan narrowed his eyes, speculating.
Suddenly, Harper had an idea. “Arabella’s a doctor, right? We saw her at Edward’s hospital.
“She must work there. Why don’t we go and ask around?” Harper’s eyes gleamed with shrewd calculation.
Hearing Harper’s reasoning, Dylan’s face lit up with understanding. “You’re right. We can find out everything if we just poke around a little.
“You’re so clever. Why didn’t I think of that?” Dylan looked at Harper with adoring eyes, a smug grin spreading across his face.
“Heh. Let’s buy the supplements first, then head to the hospital to ask some questions. Sound good?” Harper suggested.
“Sounds perfect. Let’s go.” With that, Dylan took Harper’s hand to finally purchase the items for Freya.

Arabella didn’t speak to Matthew for the rest of the walk. Even when they reached the parking garage, she offered no farewell. She simply walked straight to her car and drove off.
Watching her car disappear into the flow of traffic, Matthew’s lips curved slightly. “Back to the hospital,” he instructed.
“Yes, sir.” Andy started the car and pulled out of the parking structure, heading toward

I started the novel with great interest. In the beginning the storyline was captivating. Then I feel that the more the story advances, the twists were no longer great. Moreover I don't like Arabella s personality, cold, distant......
