“You should all get some rest too,” she said.

After exchanging a few more words, everyone headed upstairs to their rooms.

After a quick wash, Arabella settled into bed.

She let out a long breath and texted Colton. “Get all the documents ready. We’ll need them the day after tomorrow.”

“You set the trap that fast?” Colton replied, sounding a little surprised.

Arabella typed back, “Don’t have to. She walks right into it herself.”

‘Got it. Everything will be ready,” Colton responded.

A faint smile touched her lips as she set her phone down and turned over, ready to sleep.

Almost without thinking, her hand drifted toward her phone. After a brief pause, she pulled it back.

The next day, after getting up, Arabella freshened up quickly and went downstairs.

‘Arabella, are you doing okay?” Florence asked with concern.

‘I’m fine,” Arabella replied, her eyes softening.

Florence felt a wave of relief. “I’m glad to hear that.”

She’d been worried the situation with Ruby might have left Arabella upset.

With a light smile, Arabella changed the subject. “Let’s eat–I’m starving.”

“Of course, let’s eat,” Florence said, raising her voice slightly. “Everyone, breakfast is ready!”

“Coming,” the others chimed in, making their way toward the dining room.

After breakfast, the household gradually dispersed from Cloudrise Manor.

“Arabella, are you heading to the office today?” Ethan asked.

“Pharmaceutical plant first, then the flight school this afternoon,” she answered.

Ethan nodded in understanding. “You’ve got a lesson scheduled?”

“Yes,” Arabella confirmed with a smile.

“You must be getting pretty good by now. Closing in on the license exam?” Ethan remarked casually.

“Getting there,” she replied.

“You’re picking it up fast,” Ethan noted warmly.

Arabella’s smile widened. “Just wait. Once I’ve got my license, I’ll take everyone up in my plane.”

‘Looking forward to it. Doesn’t sound like it’ll be too long now,” Ethan said, his gaze affectionate.

Once in her car, Arabella waved. “I’m heading out, Ethan.”

‘Alright. Drive safe,” he said with a smile.

As Arabella pulled away, Frank stepped out from the villa.

‘Ruby has the medicine. If she switched it, there’s no way Arabella could’ve known,” Frank concluded.

“So what do we do now?” Ethan asked, growing concerned.

Frank glanced at him. “Here’s the plan. You reach out to Arabella and fill her in on what we’re thinking. I’ll look into Ruby’s recent activity.”

“But if she was going to tamper with it, she’s probably already done it by now, right?” Ethan pointed out.

“We’ll see what we can find. Maybe there’s a trail,” Frank said, his tone serious.
