"Just take it easy," Ryan said calmly.
"Yeah, I'm sure Michael and Rachel have something planned too," Lena added thoughtfully.
They exchanged a look, and both of their expressions grew slightly more serious.
Meanwhile, across town, Jonathan and Florence had just dropped Naomi off at her condo.
"Mom, Dad, I'm heading up now. You two should go home and rest," Naomi said softly.
"Alright, sweetheart. Get some sleep," Florence replied, giving a small wave.
Naomi offered a faint smile, nodded, then turned and walked into the building's lobby.
Once she was inside, Jonathan signaled to the driver. "Let's head home."
As the car pulled away, Florence let out a quiet, weary sigh.
"Do you think she's still holding on to the past?" Florence asked, her voice laced with concern.
"Probably. But you know how it is with relationships—it takes two," Jonathan replied gently.
There had been an understanding between their families for years—a kind of unspoken expectation about Naomi and Matthew's future. Neither side had ever made it official, so everyone just assumed things would eventually fall into place.
But after Matthew made it clear he wasn't interested in continuing down that path, they knew Naomi would need time to adjust.
"I just hope with a little more time, she'll find her way forward," Florence said, her worry evident.
The way Naomi had been lately—quiet, distant—made Florence feel like she couldn't quite reach her.
A short while later, they arrived back at Cloudrise Manor.
"Hey Mom, Dad—you're back," called out the three Hamilton siblings, who were still gathered in the living room.
"Yes, we just dropped Naomi off at her place," Florence said as they walked in.
The two settled onto the large sectional sofa.
Arabella brought over a tray with cups. "Here, have some water."
After taking a sip, Jonathan glanced around. "It's getting late—why are you all still up?"
"We were waiting for you," Arabella said, her eyes crinkling with a smile.
Florence perked up. "Does that mean there's good news?"
"We're thinking of spending the weekend at Misty Resort," Arabella announced.
"Oh? What's the occasion?" Florence asked, curious. "You're not keeping something from us, are you?"
Arabella grinned. "Let's just say... our ride there might be a little different this time."
"Ride?" Florence repeated, not following at first.

Update please...
I started the novel with great interest. In the beginning the storyline was captivating. Then I feel that the more the story advances, the twists were no longer great. Moreover I don't like Arabella s personality, cold, distant......
