"You throw around accusations without even checking the facts."

"And you had the nerve to ask us to run your story—I'm cringing just standing here."

As the crowd turned in defense of Arabella, the man's face shifted from ghostly pale to flushed red. "You...," he stammered, struggling to form a full sentence.

The person beside him leaned in and whispered, "What do we do now? This is slipping out of our hands."

"How should I know?" the man snapped under his breath.

"Maybe we should just get out of here," his companion murmured.

The others quickly agreed. "Let's go. Getting publicly shamed isn't worth the peanuts they paid us."

Orion looked surprised. "Who would do that? And why?"

"My guess is it's tied to that Dylan case from a while back," Arabella explained frankly.

"Dylan?" Orion thought for a moment. "The one who faked illness to avoid prosecution?"

"Most likely his family. They probably can't accept the outcome and want his case revisited," Arabella reasoned. "Attacking my credentials was the easiest way to start."

"But they never expected you'd actually be who you said you were," Orion remarked. "Miscalculated badly."

"Yeah," Arabella said, her expression darkening slightly. "And even if they couldn't get Dylan off, they probably figured they could at least tarnish my reputation in the process."

"Despicable," Orion said, anger creeping into his voice. "They got exactly what they deserved."

"Anyway," Arabella sighed softly, "I just hope the hospital didn't suffer any real damage from all this."

"Damage? Not at all," Orion replied, his demeanor brightening. "If anything, having your identity confirmed only helps our reputation. And you even lined up a press feature for us. Honestly, you've been nothing but good for this hospital."

"I'm glad to hear that," Arabella said, allowing herself to relax a little.

She turned toward Alfred. "Ready to head home?"
