Qi Sheng rubbed his nose, realizing his good intentions had been a huge blow to Tao Ronghui.
"Yeah, bring on the oysters."
Tao Ronghui looked at his still-gorgeous wife and couldn’t help but let out a long sigh.
’An older man with a younger wife... what a struggle.’
Tao Ronghui had been incredibly proud when he married a woman ten years his junior.
The first few years of marriage were fine, but as his physical condition declined, he clearly felt he couldn’t keep up anymore.
Especially after he turned fifty, it was usually just once a week.
But yesterday, Old Tao had fulfilled his husbandly duties a full four times.
Each session might have been short, but he made up for it in volume.
Xu Huifang was quite satisfied.
On Qi Sheng’s special instructions, the kitchen added a host of revitalizing ingredients to the menu.
As the two men dug in, Xu Huifang and Tao Siyao were both left blushing and embarrassed.
After the meal, Qi Sheng and Tao Ronghui went to the restroom.
It was only then that Xu Huifang started to ask about the young couple’s private life.
"Honey, you two usually use... protection, right?"
"Use protection?"
Tao Siyao didn’t get it at first, but seeing her mom’s hesitant expression, she immediately blushed and lowered her head.
"No. His constitution is a bit... special. He doesn’t need to, and I don’t like it either."
"If you two were actually married, I wouldn’t say a thing. But you’re not, so you still need to be careful."
This gave Xu Huifang a headache. She silently blamed herself for not having done a better job with "the talk" earlier.
To think that Qi Sheng and her daughter had been dating for over six months without ever using protection...
She felt incredibly relieved that it hadn’t resulted in a pregnancy.
"Oh, Mom, relax. It’s not that easy to get pregnant."
Tao Siyao pulled out the medical report Qi Sheng had used to placate them, leaving Xu Huifang utterly baffled by her explanation.
If the medical report was fake, then how to explain the past six months?
Her daughter’s belly was still flat, which was certainly unusual.
And she, of all people, knew her daughter’s condition.
