Stewart glanced over with concern. “How are you feeling now? Is anything bothering you? If you’re not up for it, we can always postpone the morning meeting…”
“I’m fine,” Charlene replied.
As she answered, she suddenly realized she wasn’t wearing yesterday’s clothes. Instead, she was dressed in the pajamas she’d packed herself. She felt fresh and dry—apparently, someone had helped her shower and change.
She wondered if Thorne had arranged for hotel staff to help her, or if… well, it didn’t really matter. It wasn’t something worth bringing up with Stewart anyway. After exchanging a few more words, they ended the call.
It was getting late. Charlene decided not to dwell on whatever happened last night. She got ready for the day, touched up her makeup, grabbed her bag, and headed out.
As soon as she stepped into the hallway, she nearly bumped into Thorne and Vesta.
Charlene paused. Thorne and Vesta also stopped in their tracks. Vesta’s expression turned cold the moment she spotted Charlene.
“Charlene.”
Just then, Stewart came out of his room. Seeing Thorne and Vesta together, he clenched his jaw and walked straight toward them.
Charlene looked away.
Thorne nodded politely. “Mr. Ferguson.”
Stewart had no idea when Vesta had arrived in Jade City. Seeing her with Thorne, and hearing Thorne greet him, Stewart ignored them and turned to Charlene. “Charlene, let’s go.”
She nodded. “Alright.”
She led the way toward the elevators.
At that moment, Gaylord stepped out of his room. He was surprised to see Thorne, Vesta, Charlene, and Stewart all waiting for the elevator at the same time, and he paused briefly. However, Charlene and Stewart stood at a different elevator bank, a good distance away from Thorne and Vesta. To a stranger, it would have looked as though they didn’t know each other at all.
At lunchtime, after finishing up their work, The Henderson Group and the PrimeStar team headed to a nearby restaurant together.
Thorne didn’t join them.
Mr. Windsor explained with a good-natured smile, “Ms. Hawkins’s close friend just returned from abroad, so Mr. Henderson is busy welcoming her today. He won’t be joining us for lunch.”
Stewart’s smile was polite but stiff. “Mr. Henderson certainly keeps himself busy.”
Mr. Windsor didn’t catch the sarcasm, taking it as a lighthearted comment about Thorne and Vesta’s close relationship. He chuckled, “That he does.”
The afternoon’s schedule went off without a hitch. That evening, as planned, they flew back to Starfall.
According to Mr. Windsor, Thorne had another project to discuss and didn’t fly back with them that night. Neither did Vesta.

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
Well cockroaches it seems you've reached your final destination at which your nasty colony will be destroyed! Way to go Stewart!!!...
Now ı want to know how Thorne will stay silent with her daughter there and people talking bad about her mother....
Oh god! It's getting super boring and dragging. Lost all the interest now. A warning to new readers, avoid reading this....
761 chapters and they still couldn't divorce...
Is the universe against the divorce now?...
It is now mind numbing excruciating and irritating in the Chinese version where Thorne is ambiguous and now openly again intimate with Vesta, she leans and mutters sweetly holding his arm! And her clan are viciously demeaning Charlene while Thorne is within hearing distance. There is no justice no reparations for Charlene. Utter disheartening this novel is now...
Thorne must have bashed his head somewhere....
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
