On the last possible day, Thorne still hadn't returned. The finalization window closed.
Charlene assumed it would be several more days before he came back. But the very next day, as she and Stewart were in a meeting, Jasmine called with the news: Thorne was home.
Stewart let out a laugh of pure disbelief. "Are you kidding me? He couldn't come back one day sooner? He does this the day *after* the window closes? He has to be doing this on purpose."
Charlene put down her phone, her face unreadable. It couldn't be intentional. It had to be a coincidence.
Stewart knew that too, but he was furious on her behalf. "You know what? Just file for divorce. But then again, from filing to the court date, that's another month…"
Before they could say more, a knock on the door interrupted them.

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
