Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne) novel Chapter 582

Thorne and Vesta also saw Charlene and Stewart. Vesta's expression was cold and distant, while Thorne offered a small nod in greeting. Charlene and Stewart both pretended not to notice.

Forrest Spencer saw that Thorne had arrived and approached him with a smile. "Thorne, let's head upstairs."

Thorne agreed. As they walked away, Stewart let out a cold laugh. "The Hawkins and Spencers are already this arrogant, and you two aren't even divorced yet. I can't imagine how insufferable they'll be once it's final. Without PrimeStar Technologies, without Kenton and me, they would have eaten you alive!"

Charlene pressed her lips together, but before she could speak, Kenton and Malvina arrived.

Thorne and his group were being personally escorted by the restaurant manager, and their pleasantries caused a slight delay. As they were about to head to the elevator, they saw Charlene's party again. It was clear that Malvina was holding Charlene's hand affectionately. The smiles on the faces of the Hawkins and Spencer family members instantly faded.

They had heard Charlene was being cooperative about the divorce this time. With Kenton and Malvina, titans in their respective fields, and the promising future ahead of Stewart, it made sense that Charlene wouldn't lose much by letting go of Thorne. It was no wonder she was so willing to finalize the divorce.

Georgina's smile was thin. "She certainly has good luck."

First Thorne, now Stewart.

Georgina's voice was soft, and Thorne, who was chatting with the manager, probably didn't hear. But Maureen, Rhoda, and the others did. Georgina had voiced what they were all thinking: Charlene was incredibly fortunate. Even after leaving Thorne, she was set to live a prosperous life.

Envious and resentful, Leah shot a harsh glare at their retreating backs.

Charlene's group took the escalators on the other side, avoiding another encounter. After dinner, she and Stewart went to Kenton's place for a while to discuss some business. With her trip to the research facility now scheduled, it became clear that a mutual, uncontested divorce was more likely to be finalized smoothly than a contested one. After leaving Kenton's, Charlene picked up her phone and sent a message to Thorne.

[Let's finalize the divorce the day after tomorrow.]

At the office, Charlene tried to work while keeping an eye on her phone. Hours passed with no word. It wasn't until after two in the afternoon that Thorne finally messaged her again.

[I'm heading over now. I'll be there a little after three. Does that work for you?]

[Yes.]

Thorne was probably swamped, as he didn't reply again. Charlene still had a few things to wrap up, but she stopped what she was doing, packed her things, and grabbed her bag to leave.

Gaylord Hearst happened to be coming to see her and noticed she was on her way out. "Heading somewhere?" he asked.
