Charlene and Jasmine rode with Thorne. In the car, however, Charlene directed all her conversation toward Irma and Jasmine, completely ignoring Thorne. He, in turn, didn't speak to her either. Irma noticed the cold shoulder between them and sighed silently again.
Though he disliked Thorne, Vernon was genuinely grateful and had booked a table at one of Starfall's most renowned and expensive restaurants. It was a place Thorne frequented, and the manager greeted him personally as he walked in. "Mr. Henderson, welcome. Would you like your usual private suite?"
Thorne deferred to Vernon. "Mr. Ross is our host today—"
Vernon, understanding Thorne was leaving the choice to him, replied, "If Mr. Henderson has no objection, his usual suite would be perfect. Please lead the way."
As they headed upstairs, they failed to notice the Hawkins and Spencer families, who had just arrived at the entrance.
They stopped in their tracks at the sight of Thorne with Charlene and the rest of the Ross family.
"Thorne just hired those doctors for that old woman a few days ago, and now he's having dinner with them," Rhoda muttered, a note of concern in her voice. "Why is he spending so much time with the Ross family lately?"
Leah frowned. "Exactly."
After Vesta had warned her not to mention what Jasmine had said about the diamond, Leah had kept her mouth shut. She hadn't understood Vesta's calm reaction at first, but she had since reasoned that even if Thorne had given the diamond to Charlene, it was probably part of some settlement agreement and didn't mean anything. Besides, while a few billion sounded like a lot, it was a drop in the bucket for someone with Thorne's wealth. Thorne's heart was with Vesta, so what did it matter if he gave Charlene some money?

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
