Stewart was at a loss for words. "Yes, we had plans," he thought, "but that was before you showed up. Obviously, I've changed my mind."
He forced a laugh. "Something came up last minute. My apologies, Mr. Henderson."
Thorne smiled back but didn't press the issue. He stood up. "Alright, next time then." After shaking Stewart's hand, he extended his to Charlene. She hesitated for a moment before taking it, saying coolly, "Take care."
Thorne nodded, glanced at Gaylord, and then left PrimeStar with Coy.
For the next two days, the collaboration required Charlene and Gaylord to be at The Henderson Group. On both mornings, Thorne would drop by their meetings and sit in for a while, though he never stayed for more than half an hour. By now, Mr. Windsor and the others were almost certain that Thorne had developed feelings for Charlene.
Gaylord rarely visited The Henderson Group. He'd heard that Thorne sometimes sat in on Charlene's meetings, but knowing Thorne had a background in AI, he just assumed he was interested in the project details and didn't think much of it.
That day, around noon, Vesta arrived at The Henderson Group again, but Thorne was nowhere to be seen. She did, however, run into Coy.
Coy paused when he saw her and walked over. "Ms. Hawkins, are you here for Mr. Henderson?"
Vesta smiled. "Yes. Is Thorne around?"

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
