After his polite greeting, Thorne got in his car and left.
Watching the car drive away, Kelvin finally snapped out of his shock and turned to Dalton, his voice a mix of disbelief and excitement. "So, Thorne and Charlene are both cheating... Holy crap, that's insane!"
Dalton remained silent. He hadn't seen any private interaction between them for a long time and had thought it was over, but apparently not.
His face grim, he turned and got into his car. Kelvin hurried after him, only then realizing that Dalton didn't seem nearly as surprised as he was.
It clicked. "Holy hell, you knew about this already, didn't you?!"
Dalton didn't answer. Kelvin got in beside him. "Since when? How could you keep something this juicy from me?!"
Dalton's expression remained dark as he said nothing, stepping on the gas before Kelvin was even properly seated. Kelvin jumped. But seeing Dalton's face, he knew immediately that his friend was worried about Vesta, his heart aching for her. He rubbed his nose awkwardly. A moment later, a thought occurred to him. "But hey, on the other hand, if Thorne and Ms. Hawkins really do break up, this could be your chance. This might actually be a good thing for you."
Dalton gripped the steering wheel tighter. Of course, he'd thought of that. But would they really break up? After a moment, he said, "They might not. Don't go spreading this around."
"Fine," Kelvin agreed. "But I can tell York, right?"
"You can, but York isn't interested in this kind of stuff."
About ten minutes later, Dalton pulled up in front of a quiet bar. When they entered their private room, York Watson was already waiting. York's sharp eyes noticed something was off the moment they walked in. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
