Charlene remained completely unaware of the situation between Thorne and Vesta. After securing the government contract, she was busier than ever, even working through her Saturday.
On Sunday, her only day off, Jasmine showed up at the Ross estate bright and early. Charlene had worked herself to exhaustion the day before and was sleeping in, but Jasmine didn't wake her. Instead, the little girl waited quietly in the bedroom. When Charlene finally stirred, Jasmine snuggled into her arms.
"Mommy, you're awake! Are you hungry? Daddy's downstairs. He said he wants to talk to you."
The lingering sleepiness vanished from Charlene's mind. Jasmine's arrival was a surprise, as no one else from the Ross family was home. A little over ten minutes later, she went downstairs to find Thorne in the living room, sipping a cup of tea.
He looked up and greeted her calmly. "You're up."

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
