In the eyes of the Ross family, Thorne was now Jasmine's father. Since he had helped find a doctor for Grandma Helena, the family felt they owed him a deep debt of gratitude, and they all treated him with a polite warmth. Still, his presence made the atmosphere at the dinner table a little stiff.
Charlene barely spoke during the meal, but Jasmine was thrilled because her mother had made many of her favorite dishes. As for Thorne, Charlene hadn't known he was coming, but she still showed her hospitality by quickly preparing a couple of dishes she knew he liked.
He seemed to notice. After taking his seat, he looked at Charlene and said simply, “Thank you.”
“It's nothing,” she replied, her tone neutral.
Sensing her reluctance to engage, Vernon smoothly redirected the conversation, and Thorne turned to chat with him instead.
A few moments later, just as Thorne and Vernon were deep in conversation, Charlene's phone buzzed. It was a call from York Watson.
Charlene paused, and before she could fully register the caller, she noticed Thorne glance in her direction. Avoiding his gaze, she picked up her phone and stood. “Excuse me, I need to take this,” she said to the others.
She walked a short distance away before answering. “Hello.”
York's voice was warm on the other end. “Merry Christmas.”
“Merry Christmas to you too,” Charlene replied.
“Are you free later?” he asked. “Want to go for a walk?”
She had only answered out of respect for their friendship, but she had no intention of accepting his invitation. “I'm sorry, I can't. I'm spending the evening with my daughter.”
It was the answer he'd expected. After a brief pause, York simply chuckled. “Alright, I understand.” He then asked, “Have you eaten?”
“We're eating now.”
“Okay, I won't keep you then. I'll call you later.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
It is now mind numbing excruciating and irritating in the Chinese version where Thorne is ambiguous and now openly again intimate with Vesta, she leans and mutters sweetly holding his arm! And her clan are viciously demeaning Charlene while Thorne is within hearing distance. There is no justice no reparations for Charlene. Utter disheartening this novel is now...
Thorne must have bashed his head somewhere....
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
Thanks PINKK889 for the info. The same version is also on You tube except dubbed in English and titled “ I divorced my husband who cheated now begging me to come back” Enjoy...
Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
Stewart and Charlene will the best match, both power players!...
Can't wait to read where Charlene will start another relationship... God for is she gets back with Thorne... She needs to be with York or Gaylord (to annoy vesta) or granger (to annoy Thorne)...
I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
