Despite her denial, Jasmine pressed her little lips into a tight line the moment the words left her mouth.
Seeing this, Latonia was just about to say something comforting when Jasmine's phone suddenly rang.
Jasmine glanced at the screen. The moment she saw Charlene's name, she froze. She reached out to answer it, then quickly turned her face away, pulling her hand back.
Watching the entire exchange, Latonia immediately understood that Jasmine's bad mood today had everything to do with Charlene.
Latonia had seen exactly how clingy Jasmine had been with Charlene lately.
Although she didn't know what had happened, she was certain Jasmine wouldn't actually be able to ignore Charlene's call for long. Smiling softly, Latonia didn't push the issue. She simply said, "I'll go downstairs and warm up some milk for you."
Once Latonia left, Jasmine stared at the ringing phone. She knew that if she didn't pick up soon, the call would drop.
She turned her attention back to the screen and finally reached out.
But right at that second, the call automatically disconnected.
Panic seized Jasmine's chest. She stared at the phone in front of her, hesitated for a moment, and finally couldn't resist picking it up.
She waited for a little while, but Charlene didn't call back.
Pouting, Jasmine clutched the phone with both hands. After another agonizing moment, she took the initiative to call Charlene back.
The line connected almost instantly. "Minnie, did you just finish your shower?"
"Mhm." Even though Charlene had picked up, Jasmine still felt a pang of lingering sadness. Her voice was slightly subdued as she asked, "Mom, how come you only called once and didn't call back?"
If she hadn't called back, would her mom have just not bothered to call her again today?

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
It is now mind numbing excruciating and irritating in the Chinese version where Thorne is ambiguous and now openly again intimate with Vesta, she leans and mutters sweetly holding his arm! And her clan are viciously demeaning Charlene while Thorne is within hearing distance. There is no justice no reparations for Charlene. Utter disheartening this novel is now...
Thorne must have bashed his head somewhere....
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
Thanks PINKK889 for the info. The same version is also on You tube except dubbed in English and titled “ I divorced my husband who cheated now begging me to come back” Enjoy...
Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
Stewart and Charlene will the best match, both power players!...
Can't wait to read where Charlene will start another relationship... God for is she gets back with Thorne... She needs to be with York or Gaylord (to annoy vesta) or granger (to annoy Thorne)...
I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
