Stewart let out a sharp laugh of disbelief. "The sheer audacity of these people."
Their client had no idea what Stewart was referring to and looked at him in confusion. Stewart just waved it off with a smile. "It's nothing."
The client might have been in the dark, but Charlene understood perfectly.
First, there was Dalton Ramirez, and now this Director Lancaster. Both of them had taken it upon themselves to march up to her and demand justice on behalf of Vesta Hawkins.

"I know," Corinne interrupted with a smile. "It wasn't entirely just for you. I just got back to the city, I was a little bored, and I figured I'd find some entertainment."
Vesta knew that, deep down, Corinne had still done it for her. She smiled softly. "Thank you."
"Do we really need to say things like that between us?" Corinne laughed, her eyes sparkling. "I have to admit, after pulling that stunt yesterday, I'm still in a fantastic mood today. She actually thought I was genuinely there to discuss a partnership with them, haha!"
Vesta offered a faint smile.
Corinne's smile widened as she raised an eyebrow. "By the way, didn't you mention that Gaylord Hearst deliberately joined PrimeStar to help you get back at her? How is that going? I didn't see him when I was there yesterday."
At the mention of Gaylord, Vesta's hand paused halfway to her mouth with her soup spoon. After a heavy beat, she finally spoke. "He... he fell in love with Charlene."
Corinne froze. "How is that even possible? Maybe—"
"It's true," Vesta said quietly.

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
Stewart and Charlene will the best match, both power players!...
Can't wait to read where Charlene will start another relationship... God for is she gets back with Thorne... She needs to be with York or Gaylord (to annoy vesta) or granger (to annoy Thorne)...
I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
