Corinne refused to accept that. "Even if she's close with Stewart, and even if she's seemingly running PrimeStar right now, this is a massive contract. Besides, she and Stewart aren't even married. Their ties aren't that deep. There is no way Stewart would let her blow off such a lucrative project over a petty personal vendetta."
When Corinne had first called Stewart, he had redirected her to Charlene. In Corinne's mind, Stewart was just playing the supportive boyfriend, letting Charlene have her moment of petty revenge.
But that didn't mean he was genuinely willing to flush a multi-million-dollar contract down the drain.
Vesta lowered her eyes. "That... might not be true."
If PrimeStar belonged solely to Stewart and Charlene had no equity, Corinne's theory might hold weight. But Charlene was a major shareholder. She was wealthy in her own right and had absolutely no financial incentive to force herself into a miserable partnership with the Lancaster family.
Moreover, Stewart was fiercely protective of her, and PrimeStar's internal policies seemed to bend entirely to Charlene's will.

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
