"How did you end up together?" Mu Qingge said playfully.
Tong Teng gave a sheepish smile, not knowing how to explain to Mu Qingge for a moment.
Su Ming ran over and only then saw who was standing next to Tong Teng—it was someone familiar, someone she had once hosted as a ’brother’, and she couldn’t help but be taken aback.
"It’s you!" Su Ming exclaimed in surprise.
Mu Qingge smiled at her, teasingly saying, "Is elder sister well? I passed by Tianya Residence earlier and specifically went to the Heavenly Immortal Tower to see, only to find that the elder sister had already left."
Upon hearing Mu Qingge call her "elder sister" a few times, Su Ming broke the awkwardness.
She raised her hand to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear, somewhat embarrassed, "I had some matters and couldn’t stay at Tianya Residence, so I temporarily closed it, allowing the sisters to take the time to visit home."
"I see." Mu Qingge nodded with a smile.
Mu Qingge had a good impression of Su Ming, but their friendship had not reached the depth of her bond with Xi Qianxue. Thus, a simple greeting was enough. She had asked what puzzled her before, and Su Ming had brushed it off casually. Smart as she was, Mu Qingge didn’t pursue it further.
"Boss, why are you back here?" Tong Teng asked again.
"Just passing by." Mu Qingge answered concisely.
"So you were just passing by. I thought you knew I was here and came specifically." Tong Teng muttered, half-jokingly lamenting.
Mu Qingge chuckled and said, "East Divine Land is so vast, and you’ve been out training for so long. Meeting here today suggests we were destined to meet."
Tong Teng’s face lit up with a broad smile.
He addressed everyone, "You’ve all been traveling tirelessly, let me take you to rest. Though I’m not local, I’ve lived here for half a month and am quite familiar with this Mortal City. There are many empty houses where we’re staying now."
"Ahem." Su Ming fake-coughed behind Tong Teng.
It seemed like a reminder.
Tong Teng glanced at her and said, "This is my boss and these are my senior brothers and sisters; I trust them."
His explanation immediately darkened Su Ming’s face, leaving her unsure how to clarify.
However, Mu Qingge and the others caught a hint of curiosity from their conversation.
Mu Qingge’s gaze fell on Tong Teng, and she asked, "Is there any inconvenience?"
Tong Teng hurriedly replied before Su Ming, "No! Absolutely not. There won’t be any inconvenience in front of the boss."
Su Ming stomped angrily, glaring at Tong Teng before turning to walk inside, completely ignoring the powerful Divine beings before her.
Mu Qingge watched Su Ming’s departing figure, then looked at Tong Teng.
Tong Teng innocently blinked and grinned at Mu Qingge, "Boss, shall we go first?"
Mu Qingge’s gaze slightly shifted, nearly imperceptibly nodding.
The group followed Tong Teng into the small town. Su Ming, who had started ahead, was still within their sight, but after realizing they were catching up, her pace quickened considerably.

Indeed! Tong Teng’s description made Mu Qingge and Yao Xinghai immediately think of the little girl with Su Ming as Lian Qiao, who had snuck onto the Divine Demon Continent.
