When the violent explosion sounded, Dixon sensed the sharp stabbing pain from behind, and then he severely protected the mother and daughter under him. When the fragments stabbed on his back, he let out a stuffy hum.
Later, the darkness of coma accompanied by the pain of the body attacked Dixon. He felt a smell of blood, but couldn't have any strength to open his eyes.
Before falling into the darkness, he heard someone roaring in his ears-
"Take them away! Don't look back!"
Eventually, he lost sight of every single piece of light.
Later, when Dixon opened his eyes, he suddenly remembered what he saw at the last second before coma. Lenard was standing at the end of his bed with his hands in the pockets.
He felt that his brain might have been hurt. Now he saw people with double images. Later, he closed his eyes and felt better when he opened them again.
He thought his optic nerve must have been hurt.
Seeing him like this, Lenard smiled. "Do you want to die by heading into the mall? Fortunately, they were closed on New Year's Day, otherwise what if you hurt people?"
It turned out that Ricky let them enter the shopping mall for this reason, fearing of hurting other pedestrians, it was safest to choose a big shopping mall with no one inside.
Dixon propped up to sit up, turned to see Sonia and Victor who were also asleep in the bed next to him.
Dixon asked in a hoarse voice, "Is she hurt?"
"It's just a fracture, and she will be fine soon."
Lenard raised his chin. "Why don't you look at your own back? Oh, you can't see it. Anyway, I sewed it for you, and the glass fragments were all stuck in. If they go deeper, your kidney might have been hurt."
Dixon felt that he was wrapped like a mummy now. He got used to being superior and actually felt a little curious to be like a disabled person all of a sudden.
"If she wakes up, tell her it's because I had a fatigue driving."
Dixon said hoarsely, "Don't tell her that she had been hunted."
"Now they have obviously targeted Sonia and Victor."
Lenard understood what happened to the Dixon. He held his hands in his chest. "Can you protect her next time even though you've protected her this time?"
Dixon's eyes gradually deepened, looking at Lenard's face, "I can't guarantee... unless..."
Unless Sonia stayed with him.
However, it was impossible for Sonia to agree with this suggestion. Dixon felt headache at the thought of this. Feeling even more painful on his body, his eyebrows wrinkled together.
Lenard was happy. "It's rare to see you with this tangled expression for a long time."
Dixon staring at Lenard, "Or would you help me..."
"Who am for Sonia? How can I help you protect her?"
Lenard pointed to himself. "Or you should just confess with Sonia and reach a consensus with her. At least you can have a position to protect her. Otherwise, she will not accept any protection you give her with her stubborn temper."
Dixon sighed.
Sonia hadn't woken up yet, but Victor woke up. He heard the conversation between Dixon and Lenard before. The little boy leaned against his bedside, stood up and shouted, "Brother Lenard.
Dixon and Lenard looked at him at the same time. Lenard smiled and shouted, "Are you awake? Is there anything wrong?"
Victor shook his head, and then immediately faced the Dixon road. "Mr. Borris, that van..."
"Its tire had been shot, the whole car rolled over, lost control and hit the road block. After the explosion, no one survived." Dixon faintly told him the cruel fact.
"It's good to be fine." Sonia breathed a sigh of relief, but she always felt that there was something unsolved... and... who else had been forgotten by her?
But then everyone was silent, and Sonia automatically acquiesced that there was nothing more. She was lying in a hospital bed in a daze, and her brain was empty at that moment.
She remembered running in the corridor against gunfire, and also remembered the back of the crowded people and the hissing voice of someone echoing in the corridor.
Sonia-Sonia-
Take them away, don't look back!
It had abruptly stopped.
Lenard gave them another body check, and finally asked the little nurse to help change gauze on Dixon's back. The little nurse changed and blushed at the same time.
This man's muscles were... so... so sexy!
It was tight and thin, and... it looked more manly with the scars on it...
The little nurse gave him medicine, and then reached out to help Dixon change the gauze, and her whole face reddened.
Lenard shook his head with emotion. "Alas, Dixon has luck in love affairs all the time."
Dixon lift eyes and gave him a cold glance, the eyes had murderous look in them. As a result, Lenard immediately shut up, as if he was a breath of air.
Later, when the nurse finished the dressing change, the nurse almost covered her face. Dixon put down her clothes and leaned against the mattress. The stabbing pain in his back made him frown.
"Hey, now you know it hurts?"
Lenard went there and patted his injured shoulder. "Bear it, big brother. It is the most itchy and painful when the wounds heal, and it was even more uncomfortable than when it was first punctured."
