Jarvis smiled oppressively. "Queenie, whatever he did was involved by you. Don't feel innocent."
Queenie's face turned white. "What the hell are you up yo?"
Does he want to create a disturbance in public?
Queenie sneered and pulled her to his side. "Leave him."
"No way!" said she in a quavery voice, "He is important for me. I can't leave him. Jarvis Yates, I won't be as tolerant as before."
"Queenie, don't forget that I took photos and videos of what you did."
Queenie became extremely stiff at once. She looked up at him like a machine, her lips squirming and her body shrilling. "What did you say?"
"Remember that time?" Jarvis smiled like a devil, who was cursing by her ear. Those painful memories exploded in her mind again, all the fragments bloody.
Her first time, his sexual assault, as well as group of poker-face bodyguards.
She recalled that she was raped in public, being watched by those bodyguards, and the bluish-purple bruises on her body. She trembled, nearly going crazy.
Her tears cascaded down on her face. Those nightmares that she desperately wanted to forget were brought up by his few words easily.
Her first night was taken away by him cruelly, but this experience became a gun to her head. When she finally began her new life, he came back again, bringing the memories that made her desperate and bringing her to the hell from the heaven.
"Are you crazy?"
Leon couldn't restrain himself anymore. He pushed Jarvis away and grabbed Queenie's other hand. "Are you still a man? How can you treat her like this?"
He knew what Queenie has experienced, so he was heartbreaking for her and blamed himself for not protecting her when she was in need. However, this cruel man is making fun of her, tearing her scars again and again.
Seeing Queenie weeping silently, he feels his heart is broken and wants to fight with Jarvis. But they are in the Seaside City, one place in the control of Jarvis Yates. Besides, many passengers are looking at them, so he can't let the news go viral. Otherwise, Queenie will be in trouble.
He always looks out for her.
So Leon drew her hand, saying, "Let's go. Ignore him."
Queenie wanted to go with him, but Jarvis suddenly squeezed her tightly.
His force made her hurt.
"Can't you hear her saying it hurts?"
Leon really got angry. Damn it, how can they meet Jarvis Yates here? Why does he pester them?
"It's her pleasure that I make her hurt. Who are you?" Jarvis also hated Leon. In his view, Queenie is his woman and his toy. He can treat her as he wants. He needn't others to tell him what to do.
Though Leon wants to be a hero to save her, he has to see if he has the quality.
She smiled, tears cascading down.
"Well, well."
Her eyes were suffused with hate. "It turned out that I, as a victim, totally deserved to be raped by you and to be photographed by you. You're right! Whatever you say. Just disclose them. I don't care."
Shocked, Jarvis didn't expect that she would make this choice.
"It's not a big deal." She wriggled out of his grip as much as she could. Jarvis felt she was so powerful that his palm got hurt.
"I don't care about that you disclose how pitiful I was. Do you hear me, Jarvis Yates? Stop trying to threaten me with those things. Just do whatever you want. I have nothing to do with you at all."
Then she held Leon's hand and left in front of him. When they went away, she was still wiping her tears.
Queenie is a sophisticated woman. If she cries, she must be truly painful.
She said, "Leon, take me away."
Leon replied, "OK."
Jarvis just stood still, seeing them off, without even an action to stop them.
The surrounding passengers signed. Perhaps it was because they watched a ridiculous farce but felt pitiful about the end.
