Unwanted Daddy Don't Come Closer to Mommy novel Chapter 942

What is the meaning of life?

This question flashed through Marcus' mind again. He stared at his good partner with a complicated look. Lamont noticed his sight and looked back with bewilderment.

"Ventus, what is the meaning of life?" He repeated the question.

Surprised by his question, Lamont looked at him. Marcus who grew up is no longer unruly but mature and prudent. When stared at by him with clear eyes, Lamont feels he can be seen through.

Lovan paused. He didn't expect Marcus to ask this question. "Why do you ask about this?"

"I just suddenly thought of the past." Marcus stretched out his hand to poke Lamont. "You used to tell me a lot about life seriously before."

"Ah." Lamont looked at Marcus. "In high school."

"Yes." Marcus pushed away the computer in front of him. "Do you still remember when we were in high school?"

"Frankly, I almost don't remember." Lamont answered with a poker face.

"How can you not remember that?" Marcus made a strange sound. "That's our precious memories. You once told me the meaning of life. Do you forget it?"

Hearing this, Lamont's face changed color.

Then he looked directly at Marcus' face. "No."

"You're wrong." Marcus spread his hands and took a deep breath. He said seriously. "I still wanna figure out what I live for."

"Why do you suddenly think of this?"

"Because..." Marcus' tone turned serious. "Jarvis warned me that I can get great convenience and power for I'm available to all messages via my hacking skills which at the same time will bring danger to me."

"Do you just realize the truth?" Lamont's eyes flashed with vigilance. "You should have known this since you were on the wanted list."

"Ah..." Marcus sighed and scratched his hair irritably. "I never think the future instead of the present. But you are right. I am a wanted criminal now, bringing great trouble to my family."

"It is very troublesome." Lamont looked at Marcus' computer, whose screen listed complicated codes and equations. He said, "You are a problem for me, too."
