Venerable Demon King & The Doting Immortal (QT) novel Chapter 242

Chapter 242: Jealous demon king

Xiang Yu’s heart clenched painfully as he saw Han Xin standing with Peng Xiu. Their conversation was seemingly innocent, but to him, it was a betrayal. The sight was like a dagger to his heart. A surge of jealousy, potent and consuming, coursed through his veins, igniting his demon blood that had lain docile for so long.

His aura, usually a controlled and intimidating presence, became a palpable force, crackling with barely contained rage. His eyes, a deep, mesmerizing shade of black, began to glow with an ominous fury hue, a clear sign of his inner turmoil.

The air around him seemed to thicken, charged with the intensity of his emotions. His body trembled slightly, not from fear, but from the barely contained rage that threatened to spill over.

The atmosphere seemed to crackle with his fury, a tangible manifestation of his possessiveness. Xiang Yu could feel the beast within him clawing to be set free, to claim what was his and obliterate any who dared to covet his man. His breath came in ragged gasps, each one a struggle to maintain control. His mother didnt want him and his father despised him so any love he could get he would hold on to it dearly. Han Xin was his and no one was allowed to have any thoughts about him.

He walked to the security safe and took out a gun. He loaded the semi-automatic handgun cooly while pointing the barrel downwards. He took a step forward, his movements slow and deliberate, each one a testament to his iron will.

BANG!

Peng Xiu was suddenly startled when a shot rang out past her. When she realised that she had almost got shot at, she yelled at Xiang Yu, "What the fuck are you doing?" ƒгeewёbnovel.com

BANG!

Another shot rang. Xiang Yu didn’t even hesitate. He was born for this and never missed; this meant he missed on purpose. He stood there with a malicious smile looking like a devil who had crawled out of hell. Han Xin knew his man was possessive but he didn’t think he would be this possessive.

Peng Xiu’s scream pierced the air, her voice raw with shock and fury. "Are you crazy? What the hell is wrong with you?" she yelled, her eyes wide with disbelief. Xiang Yu’s face remained cool and calm, but his eyes blazed like flames, his posture and aura intimidating. He walked over, each step deliberate and menacing. "Keep talking, and I will bury you," he said, his voice low and deadly.

Peng Xiu had never been this insulted before. This Xiang Yu was the bane of her existence. Ever since he showed his face, he not only won Han Xin’s heart but had been wreaking havoc wherever he went. She hated him, hated him so much she wished to tear him to pieces and scatter his remains in the ocean.

She wanted to curse him out, but she remembered that Han Xin was there. If she showed her dark side in front of him, wouldn’t she be at a loss? She grabbed Han Xin’s hand and called out sweetly, "Han Xin, he is trying to kill me."

Peng Xiu didn’t know what was good for her. She kept poking at the bear, venting her rage. "You have no self-respect! How many people have you been slept with, huh? Such filth like you doesn’t deserve to be with Han Xin," she spat, her words dripping with venom.

Han Xin and Xiang Yu were still locked in their back-and-forth, with Han Xin blocking Xiang Yu’s path. But when Han Xin heard Peng Xiu’s words, he snapped. "Shut up!" he yelled, his voice echoing through the room. Peng Xiu was shocked. Han Xin rarely raised his voice, but he actually yelled at her for this bitch? Her shock was fleeting, quickly replaced by a burning rage directed at Xiang Yu.

Xiang Yu was about to lunge at her again when Han Xin cupped his cheek, forcing him to look at him. "Yu Yu... Yu Yu, look at me," Han Xin said softly. The fury in Xiang Yu’s eyes dimmed slightly, his focus shifting to Han Xin. "Go inside. I will deal with her and join you later."

Xiang Yu’s anger flared again. "Are you defending her now?" he demanded, his voice a low growl. Normally calm, Xiang Yu was like a bull seeing red when he was angry.

"No, what are you thinking?" Han Xin replied, his tone exasperated. He turned to Peng Xiu, his expression hard. "Leave. There’s no need for you to come to this house in the future."

Peng Xiu’s mouth opened and closed in shock. "But Han Xin, I didn’t do anything! It was this psycho who shot at me first!" she whined, her voice grating.
