Chapter 320: I don’t beat up cute alphas like you

He stood there with his arms crossed, looking completely unbothered. This after all had nothing to do with him, and it didn’t. He wasn’t the one who snitched so it was useless to glare at him.

Xiang Yu saw who Han Xin was looking at, and his anger boiled over, but he kept his cool. He took a step forward, blocking Fang Aungier’s view. "Are you fighting or not?" he demanded.

Fang Aungier stepped closer, towering over Xiang Yu. He lowered his voice, making it deep and husky. "I don’t beat up cute alphas like you," he said. The word "cute" could never be used to describe someone like Xiang Yu unless it came from Han Xin.

Han Xin was the only one who could call Xiang Yu that, but coming from others, it was an insult. Fang Aungier didn’t sense the danger and continued digging his own pit. "How about you ask your lap dog to fight? At least the fight would be more interesting."

Xiang Yu sneered. "You want to fight him? You have to fight me first."

Fang Aungier thought this "trash prince" needed to be pulled down a peg. His tail was getting too long. "As you wish, Your Highness, but you can’t hold a grudge against me when you asked for the beating."

"I won’t hold a grudge... and don’t hold back," Xiang Yu replied.

Fang Aungier took a step back, and the space was cleared on the mat. One might wonder where the instructor was at this time. Lieutenant Joel and Lieutenant Sian were watching from above through a one-way mirror.

"Are you going to let this happen?" Lieutenant Joel asked.

Lieutenant Sian leisurely leaned against the wall and took out a piece of gum. "What else? There’s nothing wrong with healthy competition. Besides, how will he be a good ruler in the future when he’s so weak?"

Lieutenant Joel snatched the gum from her hand. "Hopefully, His Majesty will appreciate your teaching methods. Otherwise, he will have you demoted again."

Lieutenant Sian had been demoted in the past for daring to give Xiang Yu a mission at his level. Any SS rank alpha would have completed the task with no issue, but who knew that Xiang Yu was so weak despite his rank? He was like porcelain that would break with a little push.

It was because of this incident that Lieutenant Sian had been demoted from Major to Lieutenant. In fact, she would have been dishonourably dismissed if not for the intervention of several generals and majors who protested the imperial lord’s decision, ultimately saving her career.

Despite this, Lieutenant Sian hadn’t learned her lesson. She insisted on training the mech division, and they had to bring in Lieutenant Joel to keep her in check. Not that she ever listened to him.

Lieutenant Joel was about to say something when he suddenly exclaimed in shock. "What are you yelling for?" Lieutenant Sian asked, turning her gaze to see what had startled him.

What she saw was impossible. Xiang Yu, the so called "trash prince" who had always been considered weak despite his SS rank, was holding his own against Fang Aungier. The two were locked in a fierce battle, and Xiang Yu’s movements were precise and powerful, a stark contrast to his previous performances.

Lieutenant Sian’s eyes widened. "The fuck?" she muttered to herself, unable to believe what she was seeing.

In the training room.

Gripped by frustration, Fang Aungier unleashed his pheromones, a tactic to disrupt Xiang Yu’s focus. For a brief moment, it worked, granting him a rare opening to land a solid hit

But both Xiang Yu and Han Xin recognized the manoeuvre for what it was and that was cheating. This bastard was so afraid of losing and being humiliated that he decided to cheat. A fire suddenly ignited within Xiang Yu.

Just as Fang Aungier pinned him to the ground, taunting, "Have you given up, you

trash prince?" a sly smile crept across Xiang Yu’s face.

"You wish," he retorted, his voice laced with confidence. In an instant, he shifted his weight, reversing their positions with a stunning display of skill. Now it was Fang Aungier who found himself trapped, Xiang Yu expertly executing a staple pin.

Gasps echoed from the spectators as the tables turned, shock etched on their faces. The very alpha they had underestimated now had the upper hand.

With momentum on his side, Xiang Yu unleashed a relentless barrage of strikes, each one landing with calculated precision. Fang Aungier, overwhelmed and gasping for breath, struggled to break free but found himself at the mercy of Xiang Yu’s ferocity

The cheers for Fang Aungier grew quieter, replaced by an astonished murmur as Xiang Yu continued to pummel his opponent, proving that strength wasn’t just about rank.
