Chapter 327: Getting rejected and picking fights

Xiang Yu could smell a trap from a mile away and this was one such trap. Besides he wanted Han Xin to be truly willing, not forced by the circumstance.

Just when Han Xin thought he would take him up on his offer, Xiang Yu took the two inhibitors from Han Xin’s hands. "You really don’t need to serve me anymore. I will remember to bring my own inhibitor and nutrition supplement."

Han Xin stared into his eyes, searching. Xiang Yu was so nervous that he stood there, not daring to turn his gaze away. After what seemed like an eternity, Han Xin turned and left wordlessly. Xiang Yu yelled, "Thanks for the stuf—" but the door was already shut.

Xiang Yu felt a discomfort in his chest. He muttered to himself, "Was he mad just now?"

Hex, who hadn’t even been called to the stage, took it upon itself to say, "I don’t know, but Yu Yu, will you buy me something when you are better?"

Xiang Yu sighed. "No, only good assistants get gifts," he said as he disinfected the place he was going to inject.

Hex protested, "How am I bad? I am as sweet as an angel."

Xiang Yu injected the medicine directly into his abdomen with a grimace before saying, "Angel? More like a little devil."

Han Xin was irritated. He didn’t know what he was thinking when he made that offer. He wanted to test Xiang Yu but he didn’t expect such a response. He couldn’t believe that Xiang Yu actually rejected his offer despite being so enthusiastic that night.

He was calling him Xin-ge and baby affectionately yet now he had the nerve to say that. Not only that, but this man had a body pillow of him, something the original Xiang Yu never had. How irritable was Han Xin?

He was so annoyed that when he turned a corner and collided with Fang Aungier, it was like a spark kindling Han Xin’s fury. Without a second thought, he lashed out, his fist connecting squarely with Fang Aungier’s face.

The sound of the punch rang out, sharp and echoing. Fang Aungier stumbled back, surprise etched on his features, before crashing against the wall.

"What are you doing?" Fang Aungier gasped, bewildered, but the words were lost in the haze of pain that followed. Han Xin was relentless, his anger manifesting in a grip that felt like iron around his throat.

The pheromones surged between them, a heavy, suffocating force that made Fang Aungier’s body scream for submission, yet his mind rebelled against it.

Han Xin’s eyes blazed a wildfire that contrasted sharply with his usual image. Wasn’t the class president always so kind and chilled? So what sort of demon was this?

"If you dare use your scent against him again, I will cut out your gland myself and make you eat it. Do you understand?" His voice was low and menacing, each word laced with a promise of retribution.

Han Xin gave him a look that clearly said, "Are you kidding me?" Han Zhan had done exactly that multiple times ever since Han Xin told him that he knew they were related and what his identity was.

Han Zhan had been shocked at the time, wondering how Han Xin found out, but he didn’t ask. He was just so happy to get close to his only living relative. He was so excited that he stuck to him like glue, calling for the most random things like what to get Little Bai for his birthday or asking what he was doing.

Han Xin had to ban him for twenty-four hours, putting him in the dog house. Han Zhan learned his lesson and only called about important matters, and this call happened to be one of those.

"Did you catch the live stream where Xiang Yu was hallucinating in the simulator?" Han Zhan asked.

Han Xin’s eyes darkened further. Han Zhan didn’t realize he had stepped on a landmine. "The academy’s security is hard to hack, so how could Xiang Yu’s training simulation be on a live stream?" Han Xin demanded.

"Hard for others but not for you. I thought you did it to mess with him," Han Zhan said.

Han Xin sneered. "Am I that childish? Such a weak move is not my style."

Han Zhan instantly felt shivers all over his body. He had recently witnessed Han Xin’s methods. Han Xin was ruthless, and calling him heartless wouldn’t be a stretch.

Now thinking about it, Han Zhan realized that Han Xin was right. He had much worse ways to deal with Xiang Yu, and this seemed weak in comparison.
