Welcome to Hell (by Williane Kassia) novel Chapter 178

Chapter 178

Magnus Hale

Now comes the most important rule. His voice is low, like venom. You only move with my permission. Want to leave the cell? Ask. Want to eat? I decide when. Want to breathe a sigh of relief? You’ll

have to earn it.

He tilts his head slightly, studying my every reaction.

Do you understand, my love?

The rage and ire pulse inside me like a drum. I never thought I’d see someone use my own rules against me like this. The bitter taste of

failure mixes with the physical pain.

But I don’t answer. I know that, at this moment, any word will just be

another weapon in his hands.

Adrian leans in a little, his eyes shining, almost tender.

Aren’t you going to answer me, darling? His voice comes out soft,

but there’s something dark underneath.

I spit in his face without hesitation, hitting his cheek.

Go to hell, you fucking monster. My voice comes out hoarse but

firm.

He doesn’t show anger. He slowly runs his finger across his own cheek

where the saliva trickles down. He observes the liquid for an instant,

brings it to his mouth, and licks it, his eyes narrowed in a sickly

pleasure that leaves me paralyzed. A cold shiver runs down my spine.

His expression changes suddenly, turning colder.

RightI knew it wouldn’t be that easy. His tone hardens. So I’ll be

brief, love. You will only leave this cell when you learn to obey me.

I clench my fists, feeling the skin over my knuckles pull tight, and

only then do I notice the bandages on my wrists. My stomach turns

with hate, my eyes locked on him.

I will bring your food every day.He continues, his voice low but

cutting. But if you persist in this rebellion, I will have to take away

your meals too. Hunger will be the price.

I close my eyes for a second, trying to stifle the impulse to lunge at

him even in this deplorable state.

He watches me, his head slightly tilted.

Now.His low voice breaks the silence. How about eating? I’m sure

you’re famished.

He picks up the tray that was resting on the edge of the bed and sits

down, bringing it close, offering me the food.

I feel my stomach contract with hunger. I know that screaming or

cursing at him won’t help; besides, I’m too weak for any reaction. I

swallow my pride and accept the food.

The glint in his eyes is pure happinessto me, it’s just madness. He

begins to feed me with a wide smile, as if he were living out a

romantic moment.

So beautiful. His low voice carries admiration. You are so beautiful,

my love. My Magnus.

I ignore his words, chewing slowly. With every spoonful, my body

hurts less, but the rage grows. As soon as I finish, I lean against the

wall, exhausted.

I look at him. He is tidying the tray with a huge smile.

How do you know my name?I ask, my voice low, trying to control

the hate.

He continues organizing the tray, unhurried.

Like I saidI know everything about you.

I speak through gritted teeth, irritation throbbing in my voice

How?

He raises his eyes to me, calm.

Research, love. Of course, I could pay someone to find out
