Chapter 82

Dante Castelli.

I slid a firm arm around Elijah’s waist, my palm flat against his stomach. Leaning in, 1 brushed my lips against the back of his neck, feeling his hady shiver under my touch.

“It’s time to go back, my love. Your body still needs care.”

Fox remained still, focused on his tray, like he was trying to stay neutral in the situation.

But Predator… oh, that brat didn’t even try to hide his rage.

His eyes burned with frustration and jealousy.

He was fuming. And it amused me.

I saw it in his eyes–the fury, and something even more pathetic… jealousy.

Where the hell did he get the idea that he could obsess over me?

A punk who only learned about my existence a few days ago thinking I’m a priority in his life?

What a joke.

If he wants to feed that pathetic obsession, let him.

But if he acts on it like a fool, I’ll make sure his head rolls.

Then Elijah spoke.

Yes, I want to go back to the cell, love.

My body froze for a moment.

Love?

My little bunny just called me “love“-in front of everyone.

A wave of satisfaction and sheer possessiveness ran down my spine. Warmth spread through my chest, something primal taking over.

Fox let out a muffled laugh, covering it with a cough, while Predator clenched his fists on the table, clearly trying to control his frustration.

looked at Elijah. His eyes sparkled with jealousy.

He tried to mask it with a smile, but I knew him far too well not to notice.

That look… that fire burning inside him…

F**k. That turned me on like hell.

My bunny, jealous because of me?

I never thought I’d see the day.

My smile widened as I tilted my head, taking a moment to study him.”

So damn adorable trying to hide his discomfort.

Then let’s go back, my love.

Without giving anyone a chance to react, I carefully picked Elijah up in my arms. His body was still healing, and I wouldn’t allow him to push beyond his limits.

He didn’t complain, wrapping his arms around my neck and nuzzling into me.

I ignored the annoying brat staring at us, focusing solely on the one who truly mattered.

But just before I could take a step, Elijah tilted his face and pressed a soft kiss to my lips.

It was quick. Sweet.

But it didn’t stop there.

He kissed me again.

And again.

Slow, intentional kisses.

Provocative.

A shiver ran down my spine, excitement sparking like a flame quickly turning into wildfire.

My bunny was marking me.

Claiming me.

Challenging me.

If he wanted to play like that, I’d make sure the consequences were intense.

A predatory smile curved my lips as I whispered just for him,

He giggled softly, a mischievous glint in his eyes, before hiding his face in my shoulder.

I didn’t know if it had been a jealous impulse or if he was really starting to grow just as possessive as me.

But honestly, it didn’t matter.

His possessive look, those stubborn kisses, the way he tried to stake his claimit was the best feeling in the world.

As we walked down the hallway toward the wing, his soft voice made me stop.

Can we go somewhere else?

His expression was a mix of shyness and hope.

‘I’m tired of being stuck in the cell.“–

I raised a brow and smirked, teasing.

Can we go somewhere else, please?

I tilted my head, one brow still raised, waiting. He bit his lower lip, hesitant, then finally whispered in a soft, unsure voice,

A quiet, satisfied chuckle escaped me as I leaned in and captured his lips in a slow kiss, savoring the sweetness of that moment.

Instead of heading toward the cell, I took the path leading to the right side of the yard. The left side was reserved for fights, and there was no way I’d take
