Extended family members arrived early to drop off gifts. Josephine personally called Kaia’s parents to invite them to the dinner. Jane and Warren Chavez happily accepted, arriving early with generous gifts in tow.

Kaia had been swamped prepping for the new company and hadn’t missed a single day of seeing patients at the Holistic Wellness Center. She was incredibly busy. As a result, Elaine took care of Brynlee most of the time, occasionally dropping her off with Jane and Warren.

As the first child of her generation, Brynlee was heavily doted upon. All the grandparents fought over who got to watch her. She was sweet, well–behaved, and incredibly charming. Jane often got secretly teary–eyed when she lost the battle to babysit.

Elaine adored Brynlee because the girl looked exactly like Finnian did when he was little. But tain lights, she looked just like Kaia–absolutely gorgeous. Elaine took her everywhere.

When the two of them arrived at the Estate, the living room was already full of relatives. Finnian was there, sitting on the sofa and entertaining the guests. Despite his youth, as the head of the family, he exuded a powerful, composed aura. Even the older relatives didn’t dare speak too loudly in his presence.

Finnian glanced toward the door. As soon as Kaia had stepped out of the car, she was swarmed by a group of older aunts, all hoping to get a quick health consultation. Even though it was inappropriate during a holiday gathering, Kaia’s medical reputation was flawless, and since they were all just standing around anyway, she didn’t refuse.

Seeing Kaia in her beige coat, Finnian’s eyes darkened slightly before he carried Brynlee off to greet the relatives.

To outsiders, it was obvious how much Finnian adored his daughter. Even though she wasn’t a boy, his love for her wasn’t diminished in the slightest–if anything, he spoiled her more.

It made people sigh in envy. Brynlee really had hit the genetic jackpot.

A large group stayed for lunch, and while some left afterward, many stayed behind for the

main event–dinner.

Jane and Warren arrived in the afternoon with Kaia’s brother, Leo, and his wife, Sophia.
