When My Game Power Follows Me in Real Life novel Chapter 9

In Doomsday, death penalties did not depend on region or cause. Once a player died, their attributes were permanently reduced by twenty percent, and all their equipment and marks dropped.

Even top players had to be careful during their Tier Advancement Trials. They needed a flawless team to pull it off. Finding someone to carry you through was almost impossible.

But there were always exceptions like Aiden.

When Piper first joined the game, she knew nothing. It was impossible for her to clear the Tier Advancement Trial on her own.

In the end, Aiden went all over the place, spent a fortune to hire a professional team, gathered all the equipment, and forced their way through her first Tier Advancement Trial.

For every trial after that, Aiden had been there. He always played a huge role. He did so much that everyone in the team envied her. Too bad all his effort went to waste.

Now, Aiden was not about to repeat that mistake. But he was also not planning to take the Tier Advancement Trial yet.

First, even though he was Level 10, he still had not found his first spirit beast. His attributes were high, but he had no real fighting technique. Trying to solo a trial like that was pointless.

Second, once he accepted the Tier Advancement Trial, he would be automatically sent out of the spawn point. And in Doomsday, there was no way back once you left the spawn point, unless someone triggered a hidden quest and was guided by an NPC to return.

So, how was the Wyrm's Lair discovered in the first place? Someone triggered a Level 100 hidden quest called "Explore the Wyrm's Lair" and successfully returned to the spawn point.

That was how the mysterious hidden dungeon was found.

But the berserker who discovered it failed to clear it and died inside. According to the footage he sent before he died, there was a priceless dragon egg inside. That drew attention from countless players.

No one else had ever received that quest again or managed to return to the spawn point.

Because of that, the Wyrm's Lair became known as an impossible hidden dungeon. The strong players could not go back, and the ones at the spawn point could not beat it. There was no solution.

But Aiden had been reborn. He had a fortune and started in Spawnpoint 9527, which perfectly fit the requirements. The Wyrm's Lair was the most important part of his plan to rise again.

Once he got that dragon egg, its potential would match the power of the Netherwyrm that could control storms.

"This is where the real challenge begins," he said.

He packed away all the equipment he had looted and exhaled deeply.

'Coordinates: Spawnpoint 9527, Flower Valley, 1102, 254.'

Anyone who cared about dragon eggs would know that set of coordinates by heart, but right now, only he could reach it.

Ten minutes later, Aiden and Merrick arrived before a huge boulder. Aiden placed his hand on it.

Boom!

The boulder shook. A massive force burst out, and the rock split apart. A dark hole appeared in front of them.

'You have entered the hidden area, the Wyrm's Lair.'

'Warning! This area is extremely dangerous. Leave immediately!'

"So the rumors were true," Aiden said, smiling slightly.

"What a powerful aura. Why would a dragon be living here?" Merrick stopped stroking his beard, his face full of surprise.

Even as a divine-level sorcerer, he knew not to take the Wyrm's Lair lightly. Dragons were incredibly powerful beings. An adult dragon could fight on par with top-ranked powerhouses.

They were creatures born to rule the world. There were not many of them, but each one was a symbol of power.

Merrick looked at Aiden thoughtfully. "You went through all this trouble to hire me just to break into this place?"

Aiden nodded calmly. "Yes."

Steal a dragon egg? And he just wants to see if he can do it?
