The man who spoke was Vincent.
He wore a perfectly fitted suit, radiating polish and quiet charm.
In his hands was a huge bouquet of deep red roses, the petals still dotted with tiny beads of
water.
A faint smile played on his lips as he looked at Amelia, his eyes filled with admiration and a longing he couldn’t quite hide.
Back on stage, when Jeremy had so boldly handed Amelia flowers, Vincent had felt a stab of jealousy.
At the time, though, he hadn’t thought Amelia would actually win, so he hadn’t bothered to prepare anything.
And honestly, he thought showing up with flowers himself might look beneath him, like it lowered his status somehow.
But then he saw Jeremy–a man with such standing–openly hand Amelia flowers. Watching the fans go wild for it, Vincent couldn’t just sit still.
So he’d called his assistant and ordered an even bigger, flashier bouquet.
Except …

Amelia flat–out refused it. She even pulled Jeremy a couple of steps back, glaring with open disdain.
“Take your flowers and yourself somewhere else. Don’t even try to use me for clout.”
“Use you
…
for clout?” He blinked, clearly confused.
“I mean, don’t drag me into your little tricks. Don’t think you can stir up buzz by hanging it on
me.”
“Amelia, is that what you think of me? Do you seriously believe I’d do something like that?”
Vincent’s voice shook with frustration.
He had pictured her throwing away Jeremy’s bouquet and happily taking his instead.
Now, here she was, daring to talk to him like this.

Chapter 125 Stealing From You
“Yes. That’s exactly the kind of person you are. Stop fooling yourself,” Amelia said flatly.

“What did you … ” Vincent froze, humiliated and angry. “Are you still mad at me? I swear, I have nothing going on with Gianna.”
“If you’ve got health issues, go and see a doctor to get them fixed. Are your ears broken, or are you blind? Didn’t you hear what Amelia just said?”
Jeremy, standing nearby, shot Vincent a lazy, irritated look.
“Jeremy, I’m talking to Amelia. Why are you sticking your nose in?” Vincent snapped, clearly annoyed.
Sure, nobody wanted to cross the Currans, but the Desters weren’t exactly easy to push around either.
“So what? What are you gonna do about it?” Jeremy shot back smugly.

That’ll teach that ungrateful Amelia a lesson: My love isn’t guaranteed. It’s something I can give but just as easily take away!
If she keeps being this stubborn, then even if she comes crawling back one day, I won’t go soft on her!

It meant she was taking the man Amelia didn’t want and the flowers Amelia had rejected.
Her blood boiled.
If Jeremy and Vincent weren’t standing there, she would’ve slapped Amelia across the face.
At that moment, Maxwell showed up, and Gianna let tears pool in her eyes.
“Amelia, how could you say something like that? I’m not trying to compete with you. I only took them because you already had a bouquet.
“If you think I’m taking your stuff, I can give it back.”
Seeing her so upset, Maxwell’s temper flared.
“Amelia, you already won the trophy, the glory, and all the attention. Why are you still jealous of Gianna? Do you really think she’s stealing from you?”
He had been irritated with Gianna earlier, but now, seeing her act so pitiful, he immediately took her side.
He assumed Amelia was just jealous that Gianna had taken what should have been hers.
“If you’re blind, go see an eye doctor. If your brain’s messed up, then just stay home, okay?
“Amelia earned her glory and attention all by herself. What the hell does that have to do with any of you?”
