Orion looked at the unfamiliar man in front of him. Judging by his facial features, he bore some resemblance to the Langstons.
He hadn't seen this man before.
Glancing at the other Langston brothers present, Orion made a quick guess about his identity.
This was most likely Rowan Langston, the elusive third brother who had been living abroad.
Orion didn't have much of a favorable impression of anyone from the Langston family. His expression remained neutral as he gave a slight nod.
Lemira turned to look at Rowan. "I'm heading out first. Just let me know when there's an update on Hale's condition."
Rowan nodded. "Don't worry. As long as I'm here, there won't be any issues."
Lemira then looked at Orion. "Let's go."
She had more to say to him, but with so many people around, it wasn't the right place to speak.
Orion understood her cue and naturally followed her out.
The three of them stepped into the elevator.
Sebastian positioned himself squarely between Orion and Lemira. He looked at her and said, "I'll go talk to the Jones family about this personally."
"It won't do any good for you to go," Orion said coldly.
Sebastian instantly bristled. "Why wouldn't it do any good? Sure, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth like some people, but there are always other ways. Ordinary people have their own methods."
Orion turned his head slightly. "Your methods are too slow. What we need right now is to force the Jones family to stop pulling strings behind the scenes."
"How do you know my methods are slow?"
Sebastian was clearly displeased. He looked at Lemira. "Who do you choose?"
Lemira gave him a baffled look. What did he mean, who did she choose?
Weren't these two just having a conversation? How did it suddenly turn into her making a choice?
She cleared her throat. "We should observe the situation a bit longer. If we just show up at their door recklessly, we don't have any hard proof, do we? People like that are usually hard to deal with, and empty threats won't work. Otherwise, Mrs. Amelia wouldn't have picked a man like him to be her son-in-law."
Sebastian scoffed. "With his age, he's even older than Mrs. Amelia herself."
