Evelina let out a sharp laugh. "Wow, you really trust Orion, don't you? Or maybe you're just terrified that if you admit the truth, you'll lose your golden ticket to the Everhart empire."

Lucian stepped in front of Evelina. "What the hell are you talking about? Shut your mouth!"

Lucian grabbed her arm, intending to drag her out of the station before she could spill any more poison.

But Lemira chased after them. "Stop right there! What do you mean the Everhart family was involved? The Sinclairs orchestrated everything, didn't they?"

It was Amelia who wanted to eliminate her parents to win the renewable energy contract.

She was the one who used underhanded tactics to stop them from reaching the bidding site.

Evelina sneered. "Sure they did. But let's not forget Amelia and Amanda are best friends. The Everhart family invested heavily in that very same project. Do you really think they had clean hands?"

Lemira shot back, her face devoid of emotion. "Just because they invested doesn't mean they orchestrated a murder."
