Jaden was shocked: "He can copy Trap effects like that!?"
If Moremarshmallon was destroyed now, Tezcatlipoca could attack, and Kira would lose!
This Wicked God was truly terrifying—
Boom!
A violent explosion consumed Moremarshmallon, flames and smoke obscuring everything.
But before the smoke cleared, that taunting voice rang out: "Hahaha! Muda! Muda!
That’s not even enough to tickle Moremarshmallon the Heavenly Emperor!"
Everyone: "..."
Moremarshmallon the Heavenly Emperor? What the hell?
But that wasn’t the point.
[Moremarshmallon, DEF 500]
Still useless!
Even after the Darklord’s bombardment, Moremarshmallon remained stubbornly on the field, unaffected.
"Why!?" the Wicked God demanded.
Battle destruction failed, and card effect destruction failed too!?
Kira chuckled, "Moremarshmallon can’t be destroyed by battle.
And, if it’s destroyed by a card effect, you can Special Summon another Moremarshmallon from your hand, Deck, Graveyard, or Banished Zone."
Wicked God: "???"
Hand, Deck, Graveyard, Banished Zone...
Why not just say ’can’t die’!?
So as long as you have two Moremarshmallons in your Deck, they can cycle endlessly. Destroy one, the other pops right out, no matter where it is.
Actually, Kira didn’t mention: this resurrection effect can only be activated once per turn.
Jaden gasped again.
This Moremarshmallon’s value shot up again in his heart.
Too tough!
Can’t be destroyed by battle, and even if destroyed by effect, it just regenerates.
And it’s linked to the Shining Sarcophagus, so it’s easy to search and summon.
Meaning, even if you use banishing or bouncing effects on it, your opponent can just retrieve it next turn.
A truly indestructible cockroach.
For some reason, Jaden felt this card really matched Kira’s style.
"It’s not over yet." Kira smiled. "If Moremarshmallon is destroyed by effect and a new one is Special Summoned, your opponent takes 1000 damage!"
Moremarshmallon shouted, "Reflect Marshmallow!"
A beam of light shot from its white, soft body, smacking right into the Wicked God’s face.
[Wicked God, LP 4600 → LP 3600]
"Damn it!" The Wicked God was furious. "Even a Level 3 weakling dares be so arrogant..."
So infuriating!
The Eye—or Moremarshmallon—was just a spirit, but after resonating with the Sarcophagus, its card split into three. After all, if there was only one, its effect would be useless.
"...End of turn." The Wicked God said darkly.
But he wasn’t done.
"My turn. Draw." Kira said.
The Wicked God: "At the start of your Main Phase, I activate Lucifer’s effect again!
Pay 1000 Life Points, Special Summon ’Darklord Ukoback’ from the Grave!"
[Wicked God, LP 3600 → LP 2600]
Ukoback’s effect: on summon, send any Darklord card from the Deck to the Grave.
By sending a disruptive Trap to the Grave before the opponent began their turn—like one that could destroy a monster or negate effects—he could use Tezcatlipoca to copy that Trap and interrupt Kira’s play at any time.
But that was just the plan.
"Then, I discard ’D.D. Crow’ from my hand," Kira said. "Banish one card from your Graveyard.
I banish ’Darklord Ukoback’."
